Story

Wes is a 2-year-old Rottweiler mix weighing 70 pounds. He is very affectionate and friendly with people, but he is still learning to get along with other dogs. So he would need a home as the only pet. He should be great with kids. His adoption donation is $250, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is currently in a foster home, but he has to find his Forever Home very soon. We are requesting an approved application prior to a meet and greet. Please come to meet this sweet boy! https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p94/Wes.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Details

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,

Story

Phineas is a rescue and to which his exact birthdate is unknown. He is a little special in which he doesn’t give kisses but makes a noise with his nose. He loves attention and laying in your lap even though he is a bajillion pounds. He watches tv and loves to be the center of attention. He is not friendly to unknown people as he is kinda a weird dog, so an experienced person is very appropriate. The owner is currently experiencing homelessness so rehoming is the only option. Please give him a chance to prove he is all that your home needs to be complete.

Story

Meet Jaxx: a smart, loyal dog looking for an experienced and loving home.I adopted Jaxx during the COVID 19 pandemic after losing my German Shepherd, Sam. He came into my life at a time of loss and became a steady, loyal companion. Jaxx is extremely intelligent and knows his core commands, like sit, down, stand, and heel, and he genuinely enjoys mental challenges like hide-and-seek and treat puzzles.Indoors, Jaxx is calm, well-mannered, and relaxed, with only normal excitement at the door. He does very well with my daughter’s tiny 2yr old Morkie, showing he can coexist peacefully with small dogs.Rehoming Jaxx is not a decision we’ve made lightly. I am leaving the country, and he deserves a stable home with someone who can help him thrive. Jaxx learns quickly, bonds deeply, and will be an incredibly devoted companion to the right person. Please help me find a forever home or foster home.

Story

Mitch is a 5 year old Rottweiler mix. He was a graduation gift to my sister but unfortunately does not get along with cats but play well with other dogs. He loves being around his person and will just lay down somewhere he can see you. Very affectionate. He will be a great to a person with dogs only in the home or an only pet. I think he will be a great emotional dog for someone.

Story

As a puppy he had food/ possession aggression and we worked on that. He does good now, he just does not like to be pet while eating. He turned 1 yr old July 10th. I love him, he is SO smart and learns fast and loves to play. Now that he is a year old, he is showing some temperament issues. I have a very busy home, kids in and out all the time, and he’s started to growl and snarl at people. And today when I tried correcting him he growled and tried to nip at me. It breaks my heart to think of rehoming him. But I draw the line at him acting sketchy with people. I have a little girl and her friends who come in our home, and not a risk I’m ever willing to take. I love him, but I love these kids more. I think he will do great with someone experienced, who has the resources for training, a home without kids or cats (we have cats and he does ok, he just chases and annoys them), and he does ok with my sisters dogs because he grew up around them, but not sure how he would do with other dogs.
