**ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN FLORIDA ** Ever want a dog you can flip into “sport mode”? It’s me! Pick me!  I would love to do some doggie sports with you! In fact I thrive on them. I started out slow with fetch and learning how to walk nicely on the leash, but I'm ready to move on to bigger things. Maybe I'd enjoy dock diving or fast CAT. I have a high drive and want to please the humans I love, but I'm perfectly fine being crated. I would do best as an only dog or as a member of a crate and rotate pack. My adopter should have a fenced in yard that I can run in and have experience with sports dogs. I'm excellent when I get my energy out, but I can be destructive without exercise. About me: my name is Poe, I am a 3 year old now. I’m a neutered male with a factory tail. To apply to adopt go to lostangelsanimalrescue.org  Adoption Donation: $350.00October 2, 2025, 9:13 pm

Story
Meet Archie 🖤 At just 6 months old, Archie is already proof that resilience comes in small, wiggly packages. This sweet Rottweiler mix may only be about 20 lbs right now — and we don’t expect him to be a big guy — but his personality? Absolutely larger than life. Archie is neutered, fully vaccinated, and thriving in his foster home. After a past spinal injury, he has worked incredibly hard to regain his strength. He’s walking well and continues to make amazing progress every single day. He may always have a slightly awkward gait and could develop early arthritis down the road, but none of that slows his happy, goofy, tail-wagging spirit. He doesn’t see himself as anything other than a normal, playful puppy — and we agree. He’s currently fostered with both dogs and cats and truly loves everyone. Archie is social, affectionate, and just wants to be part of the fun. Whether he’s playing with friends or soaking up attention from his people, he’s all in. Archie will need a family who understands his history and is committed to keeping him healthy and comfortable as he grows — but in return, you’ll get a loyal, joyful best friend who wakes up every day ready to live life to the fullest. If you’re looking for a pocket rottie with a huge heart and an unstoppable spirit, Archie is your guy. 🐾 Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org.

Story
Meet Theo He is a very loveable Rottie! The Rottie looks with a SUPER sweet personality great for any experience level. 6 yrs old~ Neutered Microchipped UTD on vaccinations On HW prevention House trained, Crate trained, Good leash manners, Knows Sit, Come, Door Manners, Kennel, Leave-it Good with most dogs , best paired with a female unless you have heavy breed experience Good with all the people he has met Good with children over 10 No small animals, or Cats No livestock Doesn't need an overly active lifestyle. He's fine to just lay and chill all day with his people 2 good walks a day and some play is all this boy needs He needs to stay on a high protein/fat diet to maintain weight Just wants someone to love and give him his best life A note from foster- He is a lovely boy and has done very well! He loves to play and hang out. At bedtime he is happy to run to his crate for his nighttime cookie! He loves to sunbathe in the yard and watch the world go by. He's good with the female dog he is paired with for play. He also loves the water hose!! He goes bananas to get wet. With a simple leave it, he will not chase the water spray. Overall he is going to make someone a wonderful dog! A little patience at first does a world of wonders for him to warm up quickly. We don't know the life he lived but we are showing him the good life is there. Intake story Transfer from a rescue so that we could help him find a forever home as we have experience with this breed. He was originally found dumped at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. If you would like to Foster, also please reach out! We supply everything!

Story
Buster is about 1.5 years old, around 40 pounds, and so incredibly ready to find the family he has been waiting for.   Found dumped in a recycling area with his sister as a tiny puppy, Buster’s story could have gone very differently. Instead, he has grown into a gentle, loving, and quietly joyful boy who greets the world with a soft heart and hopeful eyes. Every day he shows us just how resilient and special he truly is.   He is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and already house trained, which means he is more than ready to transition smoothly into his forever home. Buster is both dog and cat approved and truly comes alive when he has animal friends around him. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and at least one other playful dog to help continue building his confidence and bring out his silly, happy side. If your pup has been wishing for a best friend, Buster might be the perfect match.   Buster can take a little extra time to warm up to men, but with patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, he builds incredibly strong and loyal bonds. Once he trusts you, he is all in. He is still growing into his confidence, but in the right home filled with love, encouragement, and consistency, this boy absolutely blossoms.   He loves toys, enjoys running and exploring the yard, and has a playful spark that shines brighter every day. After he gets his energy out, he is more than happy to settle in close, soak up affection, and enjoy some quiet cuddle time with his people. He is smart, eager to learn, and has all the makings of an incredibly devoted lifelong companion.   Buster has been patiently waiting for someone to see the beautiful soul he is. The family who gives him his chance is going to gain a deeply loving, loyal, and very special best friend.   If you are ready to welcome Buster into your heart and home furever, please apply at www.compassionkind.org/adopt   ##2185900##

Story
Baxter is an eight-month-old puppy with a big personality and an even bigger fan club. He’s about 30+ pounds, very people-oriented, and was selected to play in the 2026 Puppy Bowl, which suits him perfectly. He’s playful, affectionate, and full of that easygoing, happy energy that makes him fun to be around. He enjoys playtime, loves his treats, and is picking up leash manners and basic commands quickly. Baxter can be a little shy when he first meets someone, but he warms up fast and is soon ready to cuddle. He does well with dogs, cats, and kids, so he’s a good fit for many different types of homes. Baxter was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico along with his siblings Maverick, Cash, and Stormi. In spite of his rough start, he’s a bright, friendly puppy with a striking blue eye and a very affectionate nature. He would do especially well in a home with another friendly dog to play with and learn from. For a family looking for a sweet, playful young dog who can keep up with an active life and then settle in for snuggles, Baxter has a lot to offer. He is ready for a home where he can grow up, be part of the family, and enjoy many more adventures. ##2514601##

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi!! I’m Cali 🤎🤎🤎 I’m a 2-year-old Doberman/Pit mix (though my foster secretly thinks I might even be a little younger!) and I’m the perfect mix of playful energy and total cuddle bug. If you’re looking for a dog who can play hard *and* love harder — I’m your girl. I absolutely love other dogs and currently live with two of them. I’m great at matching their energy, whether that means zoomies in the yard or relaxed hangouts. I’d really love a dog sibling in my forever home (big or small!), because having a buddy to romp around with makes life even more fun. I’m also wonderful with kids of all ages. I’m nurturing, sweet, and very gentle. I just genuinely love being around people. In fact… I’ll probably be your little shadow, following you from room to room just to make sure I don’t miss anything important (like snack time or cuddle time). The good news? I come with great manners! I’m potty trained, crate trained, and walk nicely on a leash. I know “sit,” “down,” and “stay,” and I’m super smart and eager to learn more. The “still working on it” stuff? Sometimes when I have extra energy, I might chew on things I shouldn’t — but that just means I need toys, exercise, and guidance. I’m also practicing my door manners because I get excited when people come and go and sometimes think I should join them on their adventures! With continued training and consistency, I’ll keep getting better every day. My ideal home would have: • A fenced backyard for safe playtime • A dog sibling • Kids to grow up with and love on That said, I could fit beautifully into almost any loving home that’s active, engaged, and ready to include me in daily life. Apartment, small yard, big yard — I just want to be where my people are. I’m loyal, affectionate, playful, and incredibly loving. I can go from wild playtime to the gentlest snuggle session in seconds. No matter where I came from, I choose to be joyful and loving every single day. **A word from my foster:** She is absolutely adored by everyone who meets her. She is loving, affectionate, and playful — an absolute joy who blends beautifully into any situation. If you’re ready for a best friend who wants to be part of everything you do, I’m waiting. 🐾🤎 Adoption FEE: $300 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.
