Meet Mia! Mia is a 3.5-year-old Rottweiler mix with a beautiful black and tan coat, weighing 55 pounds. She came to the rescue as a stray from Zephyrhills, very pregnant, and has since weaned her eight puppies. Now it’s Mia’s turn to find her forever home! She’s an incredibly sweet girl and a staff favorite. Mia is great on a leash and loves her walks, though she’s also quiet and calm in her run. She gets excited when she sees “one of her people” and would make the perfect big lapdog. Mia would do best in a home without small children and prefers to be the only pet so she can soak up all the attention. She loves playing fetch and being sprayed with the hose, and she might even enjoy a dip in a pool! Meet Reba, a delightful female Rottweiler mix with a loving personality and a zest for life! Reba is a smart and affectionate companion who knows several commands like "sit," "shake," "inside/go inside," and "wait." She's working on mastering "leave it" and extends her waiting time before coming on command. She’s not food aggressive and takes treats gently from your hand. Reba has a unique taste for bananas and seedless mandarin oranges! She sleeps soundly in her crate and stays calm when left alone, showing no signs of separation anxiety. Reba enjoys her walks and is generally good on a leash. While she might pull a bit if she spots a lizard, squirrel, or cat, a gentle tug and the "leave it" command usually do the trick. She loves exploring the backyard, especially hunting for lizards, so she might need some redirection at times. Reba is friendly towards men and women and would likely do well with older kids due to her energy level. She hasn't had the chance to interact with children yet. She loves being near her humans, often following them around the house and staying close by. Though she hasn't shown much interest in toys, she enjoys playing fetch and is always eager for some fun. Jade is a very energetic, playful, and sweet girl. I got her at the age of 8 weeks and has been raised inside the home since moving to palmetto last Sept. We got her with hopes of our two youngest having a playmate but in return they're scared of her. We assumed they would grow out of their fears but after a year, they don't want to play with her. Jade craves the attention and with me working long hours and her not being able to roam free throughout the house has taken a toll on myself because I know she is unhappy. Jade loves to run in the backyard in circles, walks, and cuddles. Jade barks when she is alert and is hesitant when she meets new people but is very friendly. Crate trained and fully housebroken. She was due for her shots in June as well as heartworm preventative and flea meds. Jade is healthy and no health issues at all. I was told by The vet to hold off spaying her until she is 18-24 months due to being a large breed.

Meet Theo He is a very loveable Rottie! The Rottie looks with a SUPER sweet personality great for any experience level. He was a transfer to us from another rescue and is looking for that wonderful home. He was found as a stray and no one came forward to claim him, but we will not let him dwell on his past. This sweet and loving guy is the perfect cuddle bug and would love a family to call his own before the end of the year! He is house trained, crate trained, good with kids over the age of 10 (Has not been tested around children under 10) He is a super sensitive guy and is great for someone who has experience in dogs who need that perfect home to open up and flourish! We will be offering continuing training if you are within 50 miles of us and a discounted rate. He is Neutered, UTD on Vaccinations, Microchipped, Heartworm Negative, and will go home with a supply of heartworm meds. Contact us today for more information!
