Ever want a dog you can flip into 'sport mode'? It's me! Pick me! I would love to do some doggie sports with you! In fact I thrive on them. I started out slow with fetch and learning how to walk nicely on the leash, but I'm ready to move on to bigger things. Maybe I'd enjoy dock diving or fast CAT. I have a high drive and want to please the humans I love, but I'm perfectly fine being crated. I would do best as an only dog or as a member of a crate and rotate pack. My adopter should have a fenced in yard that I can run in and have experience with sports dogs. I'm excellent when I get my energy out, but I can be destructive without exercise. Meet Jaxx — a smart, loyal dog looking for an experienced home. I got Jaxx during the COVID-19 pandemic after losing my German Shepherd, so he missed early socialization. Even so, he’s incredibly bright and knows Sit, Down, Stand, Heel, and loves games like hide & seek and treat puzzles. He gets along well with my daughter’s tiny 2-year-old Morkie and is calm indoors except for normal excitement at the door. Outside, Jaxx can be reactive and needs someone patient who can guide him. I’m rehoming him because I’m leaving the country, and he deserves the right person who can help him thrive. Jaxx learns fast, bonds deeply, and will be a wonderful companion for someone experienced.
