Hello from Brodie! I adopted Brodie from the local animal shelter. Unfortunately, my other pet is not warming up to him. I don’t want Brodie to get hurt so I am looking for a new forever home. Brodie is an 8 week old, mixed breed puppy. He’s black with patches of brown and 1 white paw. He is the sweetest little guy and loves to play. He gives kisses, snuggles and likes to nibble my toes. The volunteers have discovered that he is quite smart and knows the following commands: sit, stay, shake, and lay down. Someone took the time to teach Jojo manners, so we know he was cared for and loved at one time. If you're looking for a well-behaved, fun loving boy, please come meet Jojo! Meet handsome Ollie! He ended up at the shelter as a lost boy on 3/13, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Ollie as friendly and polite. He sits nicely when asked, and he's been quiet in his kennel since his arrival. Isn't he such a good-looking boy too?! Unfortunately, Ollie has an injured leg that must be seen by a vet. We're not sure what may have happened or what the diagnosis will be, but we know Ollie will be happy to have some relief once it's been addressed. I found Otis on the side of the road just outside of South Padre Island, Texas. I was there on vacation so I had to drop him off at a shelter. He was so sweet and surprisingly trusting for a spray so I ended up going back to get him a week later. Since I am a college student, I don’t have the time or resources to care for him and want him to go to a home that is able to give him everything he needs and deserves. The vets estimate Otis is about a year old. He appears to be some sort of Doberman/German Shepherd mix, but we don’t know for sure. He is up to date on all his vaccines but is currently underweight. He is only 40 pounds. Otis is an incredibly sweet, smart, and loving dog. He is still scared of certain things which is to be expected with a stray, but he has already started making so many strides. He loves going on walks and being with people. The main reason I want to rehome him is simply because I can’t provide the time, money, and resources he deserves.

Moose is active and curious. He loves spending his days outside exploring the yard and checking what everyone else is doing. He enjoys taking walks and walks well on a leash. He would be great with someone who could spend more active time with him and stimulate him. We originally took in Moose from a friend of a friend who lived in an apt. He had to stay in his cage for hours during the day. We had a fenced in yard and other dogs so we thought we’d be the perfect fit. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. Moose would thrive with someone who is active and could spend more dedicated time with him. He gets along with other dogs but I would recommend taking it slow and really understanding if your current pets will welcome another dog in their crew.
