Story
Tank is a two yr old, 135 lb., AKC, Rotty that comes from the T.K. Line of Rottweilers from Europe..His dad, Kahn was featured on the cover of The Total Rottweiler magazine..Tank is the best dog ever! He has a very calm temperament and gets along with kids and everyone that he encounters..He is also, well trained to basic commands, like sit /down / come / heal / out (when he has something in his mouth) / stay / and he understands hand signals for up & down ..We’re hoping Tank finds a loving home that doesn’t mind spoiling him..Tank will not eat while we’re away or if he thinks we’re leaving him..He’s allowed to roam the house, everywhere BUT the kitchen..He does not bother anything, other than his toys.. He’s that smart, and a tad bit spoiled..He also loves ice as a treat from time to time..He likes “alone time” while “enjoying” his treats or while “discovering” new toys..Once he’s gotten the “newness” out of his toys, He will bring it to you, for play time..Fetch is tops for him

Story
This boy right here is named Levi. He’s around 1.5 years old and comes from the LifeLine Animal Shelter, but we aren’t sure before that. He’s the biggest cuddler, so comfy couches are his favorite. He really likes to play and get energy out, so having a backyard would make him very happy. He knows so many tricks that David Blaine would be jealous, so keep lots of treats for him. He’s one of the most curious, expressive, and intelligent dogs around. All he asks is that you love him and give him the space he needs, and in return you will have a friend for life.

This fluff ball is one of a kind! Yogi`s playful hops, soulful eyes, and friendly personality make the perfect combo. Yogi`s ideal outing is one where he can sniff and explore, then come back to his human for butt scratches and pets. Yogi is very photogenic (I mean, look at those golden eyes), and is looking to make his Instagram debut soon. Come meet this sweet boy to see how awesome (and handsome) he is in person!

Story
A SWEET SPIRIT LEARNING TO LOVE:  4 Years old / 39 lbs. Hello, my name is Mary Ann!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and it took me a bit of time to get comfortable.  I got to spend some time in the prison/foster training program and learned a lot!  Now I’m in a great foster home while I wait for you to find me! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I really opened up with them.  I also love playing with and cuddling with the dogs in my foster home, especially the younger, more playful types.  My trainer thinks another dog in my home will REALLY benefit me and my foster thinks I would not be happy without another playful dog in the home as I depend on them for confidence and tend to shut down without this interaction.  If you have a nice playful dog at home already, let’s meet! / No cats as I have shown prey drive to chase them, not in a fun way.  /  I met a nice boy and a girl around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts, but I did not interact with them.  I was too shutdown at the shelter to let my true self show.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweet girl, but I was very scared and unsure at the shelter, so it took time for my true nature to emerge.  I have been gaining confidence in my foster home.  At first I only wanted to go in my foster’s yard if the other dogs were out there, but now I enjoy just playing with my toys and people in the yard.  My foster says I am super gentle and sweet.  My soulful eyes are sure to charm you.  I feel more comfortable with women and people who are very calm and of shorter stature, so I just need a little extra adjustment time around taller people and men.  Now that I am comfortable with my foster, I have become a great home office companion and even enjoy being with my person more than the other dogs sometimes.  I thrive on structure and once I know what to expect and that I can trust you, just watch my amazing true self emerge.  Please just be patient with me as I adjust to my new surroundings and family life. / My energy level is 6 – 7 with another dog, 5 – 6 with people I am comfortable with and a 2 when I get shut down around people who make me nervous. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  While I was a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, I learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, stay’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners. / My crate manners were good at Mostly Mutts, though I was timid and a bit hesitant of coming out of it for my walks.  I was making progress – from not coming out at all, to coming out with some patience and coaxing with Pup-Peroni.  I now go in on command in my foster home as well as sit in there nicely when the cats are out. / I was having some accidents on the shelter schedule – likely related to my not wanting to leave my crate very easily.  My potty skills were good in the prison/foster training program.  My foster mom said that I had accidents the first week as I adjusted, but now my potty manners are great.  This may happen in my new home too. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I really love being with people, after a shy start at the shelter, and now I give the best ‘thank you’ hugs!  I love playing and napping with the dog friends I have met. I like going for walks and hikes and being outside, and I am starting to see how fun toys can be!  / I am frightened of trucks and loud vehicles, so hopefully we can find a quieter place to walk than the roads around the shelter.  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.  • MEDICAL:   I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.   I am looking for a loving home, where I will be a cherished family member!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 1, 2023, 6:09 am

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
A SWEET & FRIENDLY GIRL:  5 years old / 42 lbs.  Hi, my name’s Devonny!  Somehow, I ended up at animal control, and Mostly Mutts rescued me.  I obviously had a home at some point, but likely not the best care, as my ears were cropped at home and was likely painful.  Thankfully, now I’m soaking up all the love from the Mostly Mutts volunteers and look forward to a better life ahead.   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I’ve met a few other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I am starting to play with them.  The barking dogs still make me a little nervous, but I have not shown any aggression.  If you have a nice, quieter dog at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals.  My temp. foster said I tried to lunge at some dogs on our walks so please be mindful of this, tell me to ‘leave it’ and keep a good hold of my leash.  / Cats unknown. / I met a nice boy and a girl around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so a home with kids ages 10+ could be a good fit for me.  Let’s meet!  Children should not walk me since I am strong and sometimes reactive to other dogs. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I have a sweet nature and was a bit shy, but the attention of the volunteers helped me feel more comfortable every day.  My sweet nature is emerging, and I am warming up quickly now to the love that comes my way.  I really enjoy being petted and snuggling up to people.  I am even showing more of my playful side now.  My temp. foster said that I was cautious and a bit scared, sometimes trying to jump up on or toward any new people on our walks, so please help me meet new people calmly.  He also said that I looked to him on our walks so I have good focus and this should help with my continued training.  / My energy level is 4-6, but this may increase a bit as I begin to feel better after my heart worm treatment.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer.  I have learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ‘come’ and ‘place’ commands so far and am sure to learn even more, so check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts.  My temp. foster said sometimes I didn’t want to go in and other times I would use it to relax I may have an adjustment period in my new home.  / My potty manners are good on the shelter schedule and were good in my temp. foster home too.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Now that I am feeling comfortable at the shelter, I am showing an affinity for head scratches and lots of petting.  I like Kongs filled with peanut butter or other treats – yum! Toys don’t interest me yet, but perhaps you can show me how much fun they can be. / Other than loud traffic noise and sudden movements, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  Unfortunately, my previous owner did not keep me on a monthly heartworm preventative, so I came to Mostly Mutts heartworm positive.  Thankfully, I’ve been treated for it and have finished my recovery period.  I will have my heartworm re-check in October so local adoption is best, please. I am looking for a loving home with a great family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 1, 2023, 6:09 am
