We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Story
Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues being left alone in the home. Would you be the family she has been waiting on? We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
This is River. She is a very good girl who just turned 5 years old. She’s been with me since she was just a puppy. River was rescued from a shelter in Dearborn, MI. Mixed breed. Spayed. All medical records available. River Traits: Gets very excited to greet new people. Licks a lot. Loves to cuddle. Good with kids. Good with cats. Hates lawnmowers. Loves going on walks. Loves car rides. Loves attention. Doesn’t get along with most dogs. River needs to find the right home for her. For the past few months she has been fighting aggressively with my wife’s dog to the point of hospitalization. It’s getting hard to keep them separated in our house because we have younger kids who don’t think about what can happen if they’re in the same room. If anyone is interested in adopting River, please contact me ASAP for a meet and greet😊
