You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Buddy, one of two new residents at The Mikey & Me Kennels in Chelsea for Happy Days Rescue. Buddy is a Rottweiler Mix, he’s extremely sweet, I believe him to be about 8 months of age, and he weighs about 45 pounds. He sits patiently in his kennel at mealtime and he is just starting to enjoy going outdoors. We could see that going outdoors is something Buddy had to assess and evaluate for his safety. I don’t think Buddy has had much outdoor time but he’s slowly adapting to this new world. Buddy has a beautiful, short-haired coat. His first Vet appt. in Dexter is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25th. He will have a physical exam, heart worm test, and he will receive other vaccinations at that time. He came to us with some vaccinations and he’s been on flea/tick meds. Otherwise, please share Buddy’s bio with your friends and family so he can be in a warm family home for the Holidays. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues

Rags is a very friendly and chill Rottie mix who was luckily rescued by his foster. He was found walking down a median on a busy road in Detroit. Rags currently lives with several other dogs and is very loving and sweet. It appeared he was not very well taken care of when found. He has an overbite which was probably congenital that causes his tongue to stick out. He had heartworm disease when we first got him but he was treated and is now healthy and heartworm negative. Rags is about 75 pounds and estimated to be about 10 years old. Rags has a good personality and would love to finally find a wonderful new family to love and care for him. This fellow definitely deserves it. Please consider making him a new addition to your home or companion for another friendly dog.
