Story
Boys just want to play, play, play. I am a 3 month old male boxer mix. I was a stray and ended up at the shelter. I am a big love bug and want to be with my human. I am loving playing with other dogs but they often do not like to me in their space. When that happens I go about my business. I want to please the humans and will be a quick learner when it comes to manners. I am going to need a fenced in yard to play around in. I would like to have a canine friend but if my human is active and wants to play I will be okay. Because I am young, I will need to work on training including housebreaking. I am doing well in a crate when I need to be but again I want to be next to my human. I am learning to play with toys and liking the toys. I am hoping I will find someone that will love me and play with me. I will need a lot os pets and treats. If this is your home fill out an application and someone will be in touch with you. If interested in giving Odie a forever home, please complete an application at www.safeanimalhaven.com.September 11, 2024, 7:31 pm

Story
A few details about Karma: House-trained, Spayed, Microchipped, Kind We originally rescued Karma from the Humane Society; she is now 3 years old. We seek a new home where she can thrive in an active, outdoor environment with her new owner. Karma is a beautiful but shy dog who may be reserved at first. She adores cuddling. She is also quiet and great with children; she has always been gentle with my toddler. She deserves a loving home, and we would like to arrange a meet and greet before finalizing the rehoming process.

Story
Meet our pure bred Boxer beauty we call Jewel!!  This delightful, one year old, 56 lb. pure Boxer girl is a good representation of her breed.  Jewel is so very alert, intelligent and extremely affectionate.  Currently this darling girl is in a foster home with other Boxers, all foster sisters, and she is in heaven since her foster family has a great understanding of the breed.  Although Jewel gets along with the other girls, it would not hurt her feelings to be your one and only dog.  She is definitely a Diva, we call her the Belle of the Ball.  This active and agile girl is enamored with any human she meets.  We call her our VELCRO GIRL! Her stunning coat crimson/brown and her white chest makes her a head turner.  She is the total package with her beauty, muscular, healthy body and yet her oh so feminine side that shows through in her personality. And when it comes to riding in the car, Jewel is the perfect little passenger/co-pilot.  She loves to romp and play, play, play while fetching toys and has shown us what a quick learner she truly is.  Her foster mom has taught her to sit, shake, and lay down in no time because she is very food oriented with treats.  When she was first in her foster home, she was about 50% potty trained.  However, with the good folks that are fostering her, it has now been over two weeks without one accident.  She’s a smart one indeed.  The best home for Jewel, naturally is one that understands and loves the Boxer breed, which at one time the Boxers were the number one family dog.  She is active, likes to go on walks, hikes, trips to the mountains and of course this girl needs a safe and secure yard that is fenced in.  Jewel is spayed, UTD on all vaccinations, HW tested/prevented, microchipped, and flea and tick monthly supplements.  If you are interested, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com for an application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 12, 2024, 1:37 pm

Story
Meet Darling Daisy, a truly striking 4-year-old Boxer-Great Dane mix who has overcome so much. She was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where she was severely underweight and emotionally shut down. But now, in her foster home, she’s blossoming into the loving, gentle dog she was always meant to be!   At around 65 lbs, Daisy is a tall, clumsy sweetheart, still learning what it means to live in a home for the first time. She’s quiet, never barks, and has the most graceful manners. Daisy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is even curious about cats (but only in a sweet, non-threatening way)! She may be a bit shy with new people at first, but once she warms up, she’s your best friend for life! Daisy loves dog parks, is great on a leash, and is house-trained. This easygoing, zero-issue girl is ready to fill your home with love and laughter.   ‍ If you want to give this special girl the forever home she deserves, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast weekly. More info and FAQs on our mission can be found at crittercavalry.com.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 12, 2024, 1:37 pm

Story
Breed: Boxer / American Bulldog? maybe? Size: Large; currently 70+ lbs Estimated Birthday: 3/2/2020 House-Trained: Yes --=========================== ---------- Crate-Trained: Yes, and kennels on command! Kid-Friendly: Needs a home with kids over 12 years This sweet girl came to the rescue in need of bowel obstruction surgery after she thought a sock was a yummy snack. She made it through surgery and has been recovering nicely! Bella Vida is quite shy and a bit hesitant to open up to new people, so she is looking for a patient family that will give her time and let her know she is safe. Bella Vida is selective with her dog friends and may do better with male dogs. She is looking for a house with no small children and would thrive with an active family with older kids. Bella Vida loves to go on daily walks and will play fetch for hours! She will always follow up these play sessions with a cuddle session on the couch. She loves deconstructing stuffed toys and sometimes her bedding. We would recommend caution in allowing Bella Vida unsupervised access to toys due to her recent sock-eating debacle. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Bella Vida is $365 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area. - If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!

Story
Well hello MINNIE! Quick Facts: Breed: Boxer X Estimated Birthday: 1/1/2015 Weight: Around 50# House/Crate Trained: Yes & Yes! -========================================== This sweet soul was an owner surrender to a shelter, severely underweight at a mere 30#. As a result, Minnie was diagnosed with EPI - exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, and will need to eat dog food for sensitive stomachs, sprinkled with an enzyme powder that allows her body to absorb and digest the food she's eating. She LOVES to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has the world's best zoomies & will wrestle until her heart's content, BUT Minnie quickly falls victim to rainy days and nights, turning into a couch potato at the first sign of precipitation or at sundown, whichever comes first. She will curl up on the couch next to her favorite person and chew on a bone/toy while binging your favorite shows. She is so incredibly loving and so so happy. This girl enjoys long walks or car rides that lead to the park or snacks. But one thing Minnie does NOT enjoy is the thought of sharing her snacks or food (Same, Minnie, same). While Minnie learns that food & snacks are now an unlimited resource, she will need to be fed separately & given treats separately from other animals. She can be a little protective of her bones when she's trying to relax, but has a tendency to only boss around the submissive ones in the house, leaving her head honcho foster brother out of the warnings. Minnie walks well on a leash, but pulls when she gets excited & will need continued training. She is house trained & crate trained, relaxing in there while her foster mom is out of the house. She has not been cat or kid tested. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Minnie is $265 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Meet the Ted Lasso crew! Rebecca Welton Estimated Birthday: 11/30/2023 Size: we are guessing this crew will be over 50lbs. Breed: mixed breed --================================ This litter will be available March 2nd but we are accepting applications now. Rebecca Welton has the different markings out of all her foster siblings with beautiful red tones in her face. She lives with dogs of all sizes from 7lbs to 70lbs and does well with them all. She enjoys stuffy toys and food. She enjoys romping and rolling with her foster siblings. They are the typical puppies, they eat a bunch, poop a lot, play hard and sleep even harder. They are all working on their house-training skills but you can expect to have to train the one you adopt! They are not fully crate-trained, but they are quick learners. Puppies require training, so these babies are no different. We highly encourage enrolling in a training program to teach your new addition good manners and to help him or her be well socialized. Please remember puppies demand a lot of your time and pets are a commitment for life. Please read the information below and if you have any further questions please EMAIL us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org & complete the adoption application. -The adoption fee for Rebecca Welton is $365 -The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, heartworm test (if old enough to be tested & treatment if necessary), and spay/neuter. -Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families. Charlotte and surrounding cities only. We apologize for any inconvenience. **These puppies may contain pit bull. We have no information on their mom or dad.
