After a rough start in life, she is now looking for her forever home. Abby is loyal, loving, and eager to please. She is very food and treat motivated. She loves to work for her food! Abby enjoys her nosework training to enrich her life. Abby is being fostered by an experienced dog person who has continued to work with her training and confidence. She is crate trained, leash trained and house broken. She enjoys a run in a fenced yard and ideally some additional walks during the day. She loves tossing a jolly ball with her person. She has been crated for up to 4 hours. Abby is currently living successfully with two male Rotties with low energy. She will not do well with high energy dogs and would do best as an only dog with an experienced, responsible owner. Having previous experience with a rottie would be beneficial. Abby would not do well in a home with cats or with a first time dog owner. Abby readily accepts all people - She loves belly rubs! She is housetrained and crate trained. She's a beautiful girl with a docked tail and longer fur. Her markings are stunning. She has a slight limp but doesn't let it slow her down. Willow likes playing tug of war and with her favorite Teddy bear stuffy. She is starting to show interest in tennis balls too. Her temperament is absolutely perfect and she will be amazing given proper decompression time. Willow is looking for a home with a dominant owner, someone a little more experienced with setting boundaries and sticking with them. Even a home with just one person as she seems to get attached easily and want to protect "her person". She is dog friendly and cat friendly though and would enjoy playtime with another furry friend. Willow's foster is working on sit/stay commands with her. Willow can be a little stubborn, she identifies as a teenager trying to push boundaries at times. Willow enjoys car rides and is great in the back seat but once that car stops she wants to jump into your lap. She says, "No way are you leaving me in this car!" She wants her person to be where she is and will follow you around the house from room to room but her foster is teaching her that its ok to be alone at times. Willow needs a little crate time to have that "timeout" not as a punishment but as her safe place. She loves her crate and goes in easily. Willow is heartworm negative and up to date on all medical! She really likes her chicken flavored dog food, was not a fan of the duck. She has not missed many meals however as she is a hefty 78lbs and ready to give you all her loyalty and love! Rex is an excellent dog. He is affectionate and very good with kids. He is almost 2years old. He has only been around one other dog but they got along very well. Rex does jump up on people I am not going to lie about that I never trained him not to. He is very high energy. I am rehoming Rex because we don’t have a fenced in backyard and we don’t have the time to show him the love and care that he deserves.

This handsome boy BRUNO is approximately 3-4 years old. He loves his people and is very good at the vet and groomer (both love him). His foster describes him as 'truly a love bug'. Bruno also loves car rides. His foster said he would probably be great with kids but she does not have any so we recommend older children. He would be ideal for a large female but has lived with a large male with a compatible personality. Bruno is young and loves to play but can play rough (with other dogs). He does not like to share his toys with the dogs but happy to tussle and romp. Bruno is approx. 3-4 years old and weighs about 102 pounds. His has been neutered and his heartworm negative. Bruno is also current on vaccines and on his monthly preventatives. ** ADOPTION DETAILS: At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Chapel Hill, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $400, including a non-refundable $25 application fee.
