Say Hi to Bronco! This striking gentleman is a 1.5 year old Rottweiler. Originally from an Amish Puppy Mill, Bronco has landed in rescue, completed training and is ready for his first forever home! Bronco came to us a terrified shell of a dog. He had to be carried into the prison program because he was too scared to walk. Once he settled in, he blossomed into an outgoing, fun loving, happy Rottie! His ‘puppy like’ nature also came to light once he became more comfortable! Bronco’s ideal home would have: -A securely fenced in backyard. Although he does best going to the bathroom on leash; he LOVES running around and exploring the backyard with friends! He is also a BIG FAN of fetch. He would prefer to have a safe yard to play in. -Fur siblings his size! Bronco is more comfortable around other dogs. But at 94 pounds, his boisterous play style isn't a fit for all dogs ;). Someone his size to show him the ropes and be his pal will make the transition into a family much easier on him! -Rottweiler/Guardian breed experience. If you’ve never owned a dog before, or have always owned Shih Tzus or Labs, starting off with a big ‘teenager’ Rottweiler would not be ideal. He is a great boy! But intimidating if you haven’t had hands-on experience with the breed! -Commitment to continue training. Bronco has mastered the basics in our prison program! But due to his age, breed, size and strong will; he will need a family committed to keeping him in shape ;). A young Rottie who gets the upper hand does not make for a pleasant family member! All in all Bronco is a wonderful, beautiful boy ready for his next chapter! He is a sweetheart and loves playing with other dogs and being around his people. He is up for an adventure or chewing on a toy while you hang on the couch. With proper exercise, boundaries and a whole lot of love Bronco will be the best friend you’ve ever had! He has not been around young kids, but due to his size we would recommend kids no younger than 10. He also thinks cats are really, really fun to chase! For your cat’s sake, maybe don’t bring him home ;) Bronco is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and HW negative/on prevention. He is potty trained, leash trained and does well in a crate. Tank’s journey has been a bumpy one; he has been rehomed, adopted, and returned at least three times (possibly more) in his short life. What we know about Tank’s history:August 2025: Arrived as a stray. It turns out he got loose while a family member was watching him. We’ve been in contact with the original owner but the timing doesn’t seem right to reclaim Tank. November 2025: Brief trial adoption. He was returned due to separation anxiety and his constant barking causing a neighbor dispute. January 2026: AdoptedSeptember 2026: Recently returned due to the adopters losing their home.Through it all, Tank has proven to be a sweet, loyal boy. He is said to be good with dogs and kids, but needs a home without cats.Once he settles in and those first-day jitters fade, Tank is an absolute joy to be around. He may be a little shy at first, which is totally understandable in a loud shelter full of unfamiliar dogs, but give him a minute and you’ll see the goofy, loving side he’s been waiting to share.If Tank sounds like the companion your family has been missing, we’d love to set up a meet and greet!

We moved in with my aging parents to help them as my dad is in end stage kidney failure. After a few months, the amount of people in the home was overwhelming so I had to move my family to a nearby apartment that does not allow Rottirs. The gate at my parent’s house does not keep Diesel in and due to HOA we cannot change the fence. With both my parents health now declining and my living outside the home and working Diesel’s needs are not being met and he is stressing my parents. He is a loveable big boy. We have a female dog and they are best friends. We attempted to rehome him with a family friend but he and their male dog were not getting along. He would be best as a solo dog in the home. He knows basic commands. He is very food motivated and learns easily.

Obi is a 95 lb ox. He is social and often times has zero respect for space. Obi will NEED and require obedience training. While he does know sit he is not consistent with listening because he has the attention span of a fly. Obi is a large boy----he can be reactive (barky) with other dogs so meet and greets with other dogs is required and must be scheduled in advance. He has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested negative, and is microchipped. Due to his size and lack of access to be able to test him----we suggest a home with out cats. It is unknown how he is with children BUT based on his jumping and energy we suspect he would be a candidate to knock down little ones.....so perhaps teenagers and older would be best. Meet Pepper! Pepper is a shy, 4.5 year old Bernedoodle who is bonded to her friend Cheddar. These two will need to find their forever home together. Pepper came from a difficult past life and is trying to learn that the world is safe and humans can be kind. She arrived very shut down and scared. Pepper is in a foster home now and is slowly learning how to be a dog. She has learned how to take treats from your hand- as long as she is sitting in the safety of her crate. She loves to follow Cheddar outside to the backyard and run around with her. She will then follow Cheddar back inside. Sometimes Pepper actually takes the lead and Cheddar will follow her back inside. They love to run and chase each other! Pepper does not know what to do with a toy, but often fills her crate with them. She also is venturing out of her crate into other rooms more and more. Pepper will need a patient adopter who is willing to give her time to decompress, build trust and come out of her shell at her own pace. While she may be timid now, we believe she has so much potential. She has already made great strides and shown us that she wants affection and wants to feel loved. With time, patience and love, Pepper and Cheddar could truly blossom into wonderful companions!

Cheddar shares a similar background as Pepper, but trusting in a human comes easier for her. Cheddar is the more adventurous of the two. She is usually the first to run outside and would stay outside forever if you would let her! Running around, rolling in the grass and chasing her buddy are her favorite activities. Cheddar’s tail never stops wagging and she will come up to you once she feels she can trust you. She will then lean in to you be petted. She loves treats and will take them gently from your hand. Everyday, she gets braver and explores more of her surroundings.
