Story
Meet Ranger a just-turned one-year-old mixed breed male weighing approximately 50 pounds. Ranger is neutered and is already proving himself to be a fantastic companion. While he may not be a park ranger, he is definitely a Paw Ranger, working hard to ensure tail wags, cuddles, and kisses are standard fare wherever he goes. Ranger made quick friends with River and Thomas and has been busy testing out their toy collection all of which have met his approval so far.Ranger is house trained, loves going for walks, and rides great in the car. Hes full of love, enjoys being around people, and has a calm, affectionate personality that makes him easy to be around but has his puppy energy moments. Please join us in welcoming Ranger to Rico Pet Recovery as he begins his journey toward finding his forever home.If youre interested in adopting Ranger, please apply at:www.ricopetrecovery.orgAdoption fee is $250 #RicoPetRecovery #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #PawRanger #AdoptRanger

Story
This beautiful girl is Cocoa. Cocoa is 6 years old and has a pure velvet coat. She is very smart and PERFECTLY house trained. She has not had any accidents, has no desire to get on furniture, she is curious, but not at all destructive. She is also a very gentle dog that loves her toys, but does not destroy them. She can sit and give you her paw like a champ. Cocoa would love an active family that would take her for car rides, hikes and runs. She is an athletic girl that excels at ZOOMIES and TWIRLS. Cocoa needs some leash work and would need slow introductions to new dogs. Please consider fostering or fostering to adopt Cocoa so she can continue her great progress! Story
Oh, to be as effortlessly cool as Moose. This laid-back guy enjoys the company of his humans and would happily trade kennel time for lounging by your side any day.He has done well meeting female dogs and just needs a little time to warm up to male dogs.Fair warning: Moose will judge your singing and dancing skills (silently… but you’ll feel it). When he’s not critiquing your performances, he enjoys playtime and getting out for walks.Moose would do best in a home with older kids (12–13+), and any potential dog or kid siblings will need to come meet him first to make sure it’s a perfect match. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a cool, quirky personality, Moose might just be your guy. Let us know if you’d like to meet him!DNA test results: 49% Boxer21% American Staffordshire Terrier18% Staffordshire Bull Terrier12tlo Husky

Story
Emerging from the depths of her enchanted kiddie pool, Vada the Troll Queen is here to claim your backyard, your hose, and your heart. This mischievous little gremlin is equal parts sass, splash, and snuggle (on her terms, of course). She’s a one-of-a-kind, hose-chasing, Kong-chomping legend—and she’s looking for a loyal human to serve as her humble subject.Vada’s ideal kingdom includes: • A hose with good water pressure (the royal fountain, obviously) • A steady supply of Kongs (the sacred treasure of her people) • Zero other dogs (she’s a solo troll, thank you very much) • Cats who know their place (bow or be batted at) • Minimal manfolk (she finds them suspicious)She may be wary of strange humans (especially tall, loud ones), but once you’re accepted into her inner swamp circle, Vada is fiercely loyal and surprisingly sweet. She’ll keep your yard safe from rogue sprinklers, overconfident squirrels, and any unauthorized lawn gnomes.Vada is not here to win “Miss Congeniality.” She’s here to rule, splash, and chew rubbery things until they squeak no more. If you’re looking for a gentle, dainty flower—keep walking. But if you’re ready to bow before the chaos goblin queen and laugh every day at her swampy shenanigans, your highness awaits.Long live Vada. Bring snacks.More information? Story
Odin was adopted in Athens county while I was in school and grew up going on hikes and long walks in nature. He is a sweet sweet boy who loves to take naps during the day and then get some play time in at night, unfortunately with a career change on my end I am not able to give him the life he deserves. This is one of if not the hardest decision I’ve had to make as I do love him dearly but I am not going to be home for a day or a few days at a time and k simply cannot leave him locked up for that long. I want to help him find a good home where he can be loved and cared for. There is no adoption fee because I do not want that to be a limiting factor, he’s good with dogs but just wants to play a lot. He is a bit scared of loud noises but has been going on walks all across downtown Columbus and does okay just does not like buses very much.
