Story
***ADOPT OR FOSTER***Hey everyone! My name is Tyson! I am 6 years old and I weigh about 50 lbs (maybe a little less). The volunteers think I might be a boxer Jack Russell mix but they also just say I'm handsome so we will go with that!I got to go to my first event and it was so much fun. I love walking around with all the volunteers. Does not matter who walks me, I'll stay right by your side and I know not to pull. If you squat down to give me pets I'll come right up and lean into you for a little love and maybe even give a few kisses. And if you don't squat down I know that I'm not supposed to jump up. I really enjoy all the treats that are there and I know the best way to get more treats is to take the ones that I'm given super gently. Oh and the other dogs at the event were pretty cool too. I definitely don't mind being around other dogs and have no reaction to them on leash or even at the kennel but I really like to be the only dawg in the home cause I like all the attention.. Im ok with older kids (over 12) but really wee ones are abit too unpredictable for my taste. So if you want a dog that is sweet, well behaved, and will stay by your side I'm your boy! ***As long as our dogs are on the website they are available. Applications can be found at CanineCollective.org***Note: Without a DNA test or direct information about the parents, the breed listed is based on our best guess or from the use of a breed identification app

Story
Name: Timmy Gender: Male Age: 1 year Current Weight: 61 lbs (and has been working to put on weight in his foster home since coming to us extremely emaciated) Expected Adult Size: Large (50-100 lbs) Breed: Boxer mix Energy Level: Medium-High Dog Friendly: Yes, and requires another dog in the home Cat Friendly: Yes Kid Friendly: Yes, any age Apartment Friendly: No Physical Fence Requirement: Physical fence not required, but preferred Crate Trained: Crate trained but he's free in the house, hasn't been in a crate since we first had him Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home/Adopter: Timmy would thrive in home with a confident, playful dog sibling and fenced in yard. Timmy needs a lot of exercise and someone who is committed to walking and exercising him multiple times/day. Timmy has chewed plants and shoes when left too long or when he doesn't get enough activity, so he needs a home where he's not left for too long. Likes: Timmy loves everything. He's the sweetest, loviest boy. Absolutely LOVES to cuddle and be as close to his humans as possible. He wants to play all day and has very good boundaries when meeting and playing with dogs. He loves sniffing around the yard trying to catch squirrels and will take as many walks as he can get. He's very gentle natured but can play a little rough because he's a big puppy, but he means no harm. Dislikes: He doesn't like being left for long periods or going without exercise/playing for too long or he'll start chewing shoes and plants. Having foster sisters gives him a lot of comfort. What makes this dog special: Despite what Timmy has been through, he's the happiest, most loving, trusting dog that lives to please and play. He's happy as long as he's playing and with his human. Timmy's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting Timmy, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##1494138##
