🥰 This beautiful girl is Cocoa. Cocoa is 6 years old and has a pure velvet coat. She is very smart and PERFECTLY house trained. She has not had any accidents, has no desire to get on furniture, she is curious, but not at all destructive. 🧸 She is also a very gentle dog that loves her toys, but does not destroy them. She can “sit” and give you her paw like a champ. Cocoa would love an active family that would take her for car rides, hikes and runs. She is an athletic girl that excels at ZOOMIES and TWIRLS. Story

Having to find a new home for my dog Bruce and want to do right by him, not just post and hope. Bruce is 7, about 108 lbs, and about as gentle as a dog his size can be. He's amazing with people, including kids, and has never once shown aggression toward a person. He's calm, affectionate, and settled, basically a big lap dog who doesn't know he's big. The one thing to know: Bruce does not get along with another dog in the home and will stand up for himself if pushed. He'd do best as the only dog in the household, or with an experienced owner who can manage a careful introduction if there's already a dog in the house. He needs a fenced yard and a confident handler on leash given his size. I'm doing a meet-and-greet before any placement and would love updates once he's settled. Happy to answer questions about his history and routine. Bruce deserves a soft landing, and I want to make sure it's the right one.

I currently live with other dogs of different sizes and two cats, and I do well with everyone. I also LOVE meeting new people and am friendly and excited to make new friends. I’m making great progress with my puppy manners! I ring the bells on the door when I need to go outside to potty, keep my crate clean overnight, and sit nicely when I’m asking for treats. I’m eager to please my humans and pay close attention to them, which makes learning new things pretty exciting for me. I love going for leash walks and am always ready for an adventure, whether we’re heading out for a car ride or simply exploring the backyard. I’m still figuring out how to keep my long legs from getting tangled in my car seatbelt, but I’m working on it! Toys are one of my favorite things — especially anything that squeaks. Since then, she has been working with an experienced trainer and is doing wonderfully in a home environment! She settles into a routine, is an easy house guest, and continues to show more of her personality every day. Minnie is still learning about new experiences and can become overwhelmed when she's unsure, so she will do best with an experienced adopter who can provide patience, structure, and a calm, predictable home. She also does well with other dogs, and her trainer has no concerns about her living with another appropriate canine companion. Minnie has already made incredible progress, and we can't wait to see her continue to grow into the happy, confident companion we know she can be. ❤️
