Conner is an approximately 8 month old, male, Rottweiler mix surrendered to the rescue along with his brother Archie when their owner, who has had them since birth, realized they could not afford their care. Conner is a very sweet, gentle boy weighing in at 53 lbs. He is practicing walking on a leash and is doing well. He enjoys the big fenced play yard however he prefers to be right by your side or directly between your legs soaking up as much attention as he can get. Sadly Conner has had no training so he is looking for a patient loving home that can provide daily exercise and basic obedience, & help build his confidence for him to be the best boy he was meant to be!! Story
Luna is a funny and adorable 3-year-old boxer mix that is waiting for the right, patient owner to give her a caring new home. Unfortunately, when she was younger, Luna was attacked by other dogs, and as a result is not friendly towards them now. However, she is sweeter than ever with most people and would make a good companion for an adult household with no children or other animals. She loves to snuggle up under a blanket and can often be seen at Four Footed Friends with a blanket over her head. She has a lot of fun outside in our yard, playing fetch with a ball, and running around on her strong legs. If allowed to, she would play fetch 24 hours, 7 days a week, she loves it that much! She knows some basic commands such as “sit, come, down, shake, leave it.” However, she is not well house-trained and could definitely benefit from someone willing to be patient and teach her the basic manners of living indoors. Gonzo is a stunning, exuberant, lively young boxer mix who is ready for a new family to call his own. Unfortunately, he is in this position due to an unforeseen health issue with his previous owner. Gonzo is extremely friendly, loving, sweet, and extroverted. He thrives around people and loves to spend quality time with his human companions. As a 1-year-old dog, he is very energetic and excitable, and has high enthusiasm when he receives attention from people or other dogs. He is still learning how to control his body and reign in his excitement and would benefit from some training as well as lots of exercise! He loves being outside, playing outside, and getting multiple walks a day. In addition, Gonzo is quite strong and still needs quite a bit of leash walk training. However, he is coachable, very attentive, and listens well. He already knows several basic commands and is very responsive to vocal cues. Gonzo loves everyone, including other dogs and is compatible with kids as well. He also previously coexisted very successfully with an adult who had special needs.
