Story
They are a bonded pair. We arent sure if they are mother and daughter or sisters. Both girls have been very very scared and have huddled next to each other for comfort. Both girls were surrendered to the shelter severely under weight. They went to boarding for a few weeks to try and help them open up but they both still struggled tremendously. Both girls are now in foster care in homes to help them come out of their shells and see if we can get them to open up and gain their trust. ##1347250##

Story
Meet Cocoa, a 4-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as her head and enough love to smother you (in the best way possible). She’s the definition of loyal and will stick by your side through thick and thin, but she carries some baggage from her past and is a little nervous that she’ll be abandoned again. Because of this, she needs someone patient who understands her breed and will give her the time and space to decompress and learn what it really means to be a dog. Once she trusts you, though? Game over. She’ll be your cuddle buddy, your shadow, and your most devoted fan. Personal space? She doesn’t believe in it. Cocoa would happily spend 23 out of 24 hours snuggled up with you, and that one free hour? It’s for bathroom breaks—hers and yours. She enjoys long walks where she can take in all the smells, and she never says no to a stuffed bone or a rope toy. She gets along with some dogs, but at the end of the day, she prefers the company of her person over anyone else. If you’re looking for a dog who will adore you with every ounce of her being, Cocoa is your girl. She just needs someone willing to take a chance on her. If you have prior breed experience and are ready for the most loving, snuggly, slightly anxious, but absolutely worth-it companion, Cocoa is waiting to meet you. Cocoa is spayed and UTD on vaccines. Story
Meet Mabel the former puppy mill mom. This 7 year old girl lived her life in Amish Country in a kennel used for one reason and one reason only - to pump out puppies. No life for any dog. Mabel came to us filthy and shutdown. She has spent the past month in foster with other dogs and kids. She quickly came out of her shell with them and is proving to be a pretty awesome dog. Mable is crate trained, kid friendly and dog friendly but prefers a more laid back companion. She has seen the cat in the home and has not cared at all. She is house broken also. She comes off shy at first but warms up and wants to be with her people. You must be over 21 to apply and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA (NO EXCEPTIONS!) Visit our website to submit an application to adopt www.outcastrescue.com November 29, 2024, 12:04 pm

Story
KENNEL ID #18804   Everyone who sees Cooper thinks he is a Rottie mix, or a Mountain Cur mix so we put that in his bio since anything is possible with mixed breeds. The puppies have started their crate and house training and are picking it up very quickly.  These six puppies were an accidental litter born on December 22 during an Eagles game. Their mother looks to have some Australian Shepherd and Retriever in her mix. She escaped the house when the owner's five-year-old forgot to close the gate. She was missing for eight days, so the identity of the father or fathers is unknown. The puppies have been raised around children and other pets, making them very well-socialized. They are currently being fostered in Diane's home and are going through puppy boot camp. They know that if they chase a cat, the cat will correct their mistake. If they jump up and nip at other dogs or people, that is also not acceptable.  Adoption Donation: $375 ($75 REFUND with proof of neuter)  Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please email: rescuedp2024@icloud.com   or ddlu219@yahoo.com  for dog/puppies.   APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG         BIRD        REPTILE          SMALL ANIMALS        March 20, 2025, 5:39 pm
