I’m a 4–5 year old male Rottweiler, and while my Aunt Lori doesn’t know my past, I’m ready to write a better future—with you. I may not speak hooman, but I understand it! I know “sit,” “down,” “off,” and “stay,” and I’m a very obedient boy. I’m housebroken, up to date on all my vaccinations, neutered (obviously ), and microchipped too. I’m looking for a forever family who will never let me feel hungry, unloved, or forgotten again. Just a heads-up: I do prefer to eat alone—it’s nothing personal, I just like my space at mealtime. And while I’d love to be your one and only, I might be okay with a chill, submissive fur-sibling—especially if they let me be the boss. Meet Mabel the former puppy mill mom. This 7 year old girl lived her life in Amish Country in a kennel used for one reason and one reason only - to pump out puppies. No life for any dog. Mabel came to us filthy and shutdown. She has spent the past month in foster with other dogs and kids. She quickly came out of her shell with them and is proving to be a pretty awesome dog. Mable is crate trained, kid friendly and dog friendly but prefers a more laid back companion. She has seen the cat in the home and has not cared at all. She is house broken also. She comes off shy at first but warms up and wants to be with her people. You must be over 21 to apply and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA (NO EXCEPTIONS!) They are a bonded pair. We arent sure if they are mother and daughter or sisters. Both girls have been very very scared and have huddled next to each other for comfort. Both girls were surrendered to the shelter severely under weight. They went to boarding for a few weeks to try and help them open up but they both still struggled tremendously. Both girls are now in foster care in homes to help them come out of their shells and see if we can get them to open up and gain their trust. ##1347250##
