PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.4/15/24  Purebred Rottweiler alert! Paul is a purebred rottie pup looking for his forever home! Both mom and dad are purebred Rotties who were imported from Serbia as puppies. Their owner could no longer keep them and gave them to a friend. Unfortunately, the friend is an older man, who soon after getting the mom and dad, found out he was terminally ill. The 2 dogs were not spayed and neutered, so of course, she ended up pregnant. He reached out to us for help and momma and babies are with one of our wonderful fosters! Mom and dad are both absolutely gorgeous, sweet, large dogs. We've had dad neutered and mom will be spayed soon.  Paul is a very sweet, smart, lovable baby! Upon adoption, he will be neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His DOB is 1/28/2024. He will be ready for adoption in a couple weeks. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. They are a bonded pair. We arent sure if they are mother and daughter or sisters. Both girls have been very very scared and have huddled next to each other for comfort. Both girls were surrendered to the shelter severely under weight. They went to boarding for a few weeks to try and help them open up but they both still struggled tremendously. Both girls are now in foster care in homes to help them come out of their shells and see if we can get them to open up and gain their trust. ##1347250##

This strong handsome man is Munchkin! He is a big ol bear who thinks he is a tiny baby puppy. Munchkin would do best in a home that can give him some training and is able to handle his size and strength. He is a big goofy baby who may knock over small children, but he doesn't mean to. Come to the ARL today and scoop up this silly boy! Primary Color: Black Brown Weight: 93 Age: 1yrs 0mths 4wks

This adorable lady is Lt. Marg! Marg is a bit of a shy girl, so it takes some sweet talking and some snacks to get to her heart, but once you're in she's as sweet as can be! Marg can be a bit shy when meeting new dogs, so please go slow with any pups currently in the home. Marg would probably do best with older kids in the home that can understand when she's feeling a bit nervous. If you can't get enough of this adorable face, come to the ARL today and adopt Lt. Marg! Story
My name is Sparky and I am five years young! I am a Rottie/Min Pin mix. Yep! That's real! I am fixed and up to date on vaccines and weigh around 40 pounds. I found myself at the rescue when my family had to move and sadly, I couldn't go along. I am full of energy and I am looking for an active family that has previous dog experience as I need structure and exercise. I really like being around my people and can get very anxious when left alone. I would need need a family that is home often and can help me with my anxiety. I do get very excited when I know that the volunteers are going to take me for a walk, jumping up and down in anticipation. Strangers and small children make me a bit nervous, but once I get to know you, I will do anything to please! Children 12 and older would be best for me. I will sit and take treats nicely and I will give you my paw if you ask. Not to brag, but I am a very smart guy. I would do best in a home without cats. I could get along with another very mellow dog! Of course I would need to meet them along with the rest of the family first. Sparky is currently in a foster home where he is learning he doesn't need to be anxious when left alone. If you want to be Sparky's person, please visit our website, www.crcpa.org, and complete an application!
