Tilly Mae is everything people love about the Rottweiler breed — intelligent, loyal, devoted, and full of personality. She is still very much a puppy at heart with lots of energy and enthusiasm for life. She loves walks, exploring new places, car rides, toys, bones, and ending the day snuggled up on the couch or bed with her people. Tilly knows basic commands including sit, stay, and paw. She is crate trained, house trained, rides calmly in the car, and is up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Like many intelligent guardian breeds, Tilly can be cautious in new situations and may bark when she is excited or unsure while getting comfortable in a new environment. Her foster has worked hard on socialization, and she has never shown aggression toward people or animals. Once she settles in, her sweet and affectionate side shines brightly. Tilly would thrive with an active, confident family that understands the Rottweiler breed and can continue her training and provide strong, loving leadership. She could do well as an only dog or possibly with another compatible dog friend. She has not been tested with cats or children.
