Story
My name is Darcy and I am a young, 2 year old, 85 pound Rottweiler girl that is looking for a home where I can be the Queen and the only dog in my domain.  You see I love cats but I was the only dog for a while and then here comes this other dog when my adoptive momma’s daughter moved home with her dog.  I just felt like I should be asked about that, but I wasn’t.  I am a little territorial with other dogs about my place and space.  If you know my breed traits and all the great positives about a Rottweiler, then you know I will be a fabulous family companion.   I am the total package with all the great house manners, housebroken, I don’t chew and I am a really calm and beautiful Rottie girl.  My momma is heartbroken to find me another home, but it just has to happen. I am a great friend to children too.   IF you know the Rottie breed then you will see that I am a great catch!   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 17, 2024, 10:21 pm

Story
Meet Maria! She is a 5 year old purebred Rottweiler who was a puppy mill mom. She was surrendered for not producing anymore puppies. Since she has come into the rescue and out of her shell, she is proving to be an absolute gem of a gal. She is a large girl and is still on a weight loss plan. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She did test positive for Lyme and was treated with 30 days of Doxy. Adopters should know they will need to do annual bloodwork for Liver value checks moving forward. She is dog, cat and kid friendly as well.  You must be over 21 to apply and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA. (No Exceptions!) Story
These puppies were born Oct 20, 2023. They were the result of an unspayed female with an unnuetered male. The owners did not want the litter but did not get the parents fixed so created more unwanted homeless puppies. Will you be their forever home? the males are neutered but the females have not been yet due to a waiting list at the vets to be spayed. (males are easier and quicker to get neutered and didn't have to wait so long). Fees for females is $175. Males $275. UTD on vaccines and deworming. Started on Heartworm preventative. Can be microchipped for an additional $25. family raised and very friendly/happy pups. Mom is a pocket pit and dad a rottweiler. Pictures of parents are available upon request.

Story
King is a 3-year-old fun boy who never met a stranger. He's a good-natured soul, somewhat of a silly goofball! King is pretty large, because based on his DNA test, he is mixed with the Mastiff breed. King's superpower is catching treats on the fly...well, kind of. King came to us Heartworm Positive, but he has completed the treatment and is ready to go! He is fostered in a multi-dog house, but because of the time spent on his treatment, he is just starting to socialize and adores other dogs. He did well on his shelter dog Meet. He's just an easy-going boy. In his spare time, King enjoys playing fetch as well as watching TV while playing with his toys. He especially enjoys watching the Phillies and the Eagles! Due to his size, and the fact that he does jump on people at times out of excitement, elderly/young kids are not a good fit. Cats...no idea! If you'd like to be considered for this big, handsome lug, just go to www.kodisclub.org/applications to help us determine if you are a good fit.

Story
Two year old Harley has just completed a Board and Train program and did quite well. She worked with multiple trainers and training assistants and had a good relationship with each of them. We included the lead trainer's feedback below as they know her best. Harley will need a home that can meet her needs for activity and structure: "Harley is a ton of fun, She has VERY high energy & can be a bit silly but that’s her personality. I would say an ideal home for Harley would be with somebody who lives a very active lifestyle. She is always wanting to move and stretch those legs. Small children (mainly under 13) in a home with her likely aren’t ideal due to her hyperactivity and strength. She’s a strong girl who loves to jump around, I would be concerned with her knocking small children over. She is very social with the dogs that come to our enrichment program. We have been working on teaching her social skills by coaching her while she interacts with dogs so that she can have a more gentle approach. I think she could live in a home with another dog who matches her activity needs. Harley's adopter should be someone who is willing to give her structure throughout her day. When she gets bored she gets barky & tries to find something to do. She doesn't realize she needs time to shut off and relax. We have been working a lot on that off-switch with her through our place command and tether sessions. . As important as it is that we do our part teaching her how to be bored, I think it's just as important her future owner keeps up with it as well". If approved to adopt her, her trainer will spend time with her new family showing them the strategies that worked with this cutie pie. The first step is to submit the application on our website at www.kodisclub.org/applications.

Story
Beauty is a 1 year old high energy, sweet pup who is looking for an active home who can meet her 'need for speed'! She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her cute little 70 pound body! Beauty is crate trained (if we throw a treat in) and is perfectly quiet while crated. If she gives us a little reminder, just saying her name and she will stop. She is house trained although may have an initial accident as she transitions to a new home. While she won't chew shoes, socks, or clothes, don't drop a paper towel in this munchkin's presence! Beauty has shown no resource guarding. Her main need is satisfying her need to play! If interested, just submit our adoption application at www.kodisclub.org/applications!

These pups are in Allentown, Pennsylvania too!

Story
We have a special boy to introduce to the families and couples out there wanting a truly special older pup that is totally trained and waiting to love you to pieces. True Blue Toby is a 10 month old Boxer mix puppy that was found as a stray and not in the best shape.  In fact he looked terrible and we felt so bad for this boy to have suffered for so many months.  Once he came to our care we got to work on clearing up hair loss and getting him healthy from those pesky intestinal worms and putting good weight on him.  Gosh Toby is the best boy with a wonderful personality that embraces everyone with love and the anticipation to become steadfast friends.  Shy at first, this boy has blossomed and is Mr. Outgoing in every way.  He just wants to hang out with his humans and love them with full gratitude for making him such a healthy boy.  Housebroken, crate trained and wonderful with other dogs and cats, he is the truly total package if you are looking for a medium sized dog.  He is going to be a 50 pound adult and what a handsome Boxer mix boy he is turning in to.   Email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue :   ccrnewengland@gmail.com   We know will be glad you considered this boy as your very own. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 17, 2024, 10:21 pm
