Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereAt 7 years old and 53 pounds, Cappy is a handsome senior with quiet confidence and charm. Currently in foster care, he’s enjoying the comforts of home while he waits for his forever family—and his foster reports he’s an excellent house guest! This sweet boy is house-trained and caught on to his routine quickly. He’ll even let you know when it’s time to go out. His favorite place? Curled up next to his humans on a comfy couch. He sleeps soundly through the night and loves a little sunbathing during the day. Cappy has arthritis, likely from an old injury, so he keeps things low-key. Gentle strolls, soft beds, and lots of love are all he needs. He’s great on leash and enjoys short “sniffaris” around the block. When it comes to other dogs, Cappy is generally calm and polite with those his size, though he might be too much for smaller pups. With slow introductions, or as your one-and-only, he’ll shine. If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion with soulful eyes and a wise, sweet spirit, Cappy could be your match. While he enjoys company, he is perfectly comfortable doing his own thing. He is a little timid at first and will open up once he warms up. Could Shadow be your newest family member? Story
Meet GUS-GUS as some of us fondly call him. He has the most squishy face, and surprisingly soft coat for a Shar-Pei mix, he is relatively calm and easy going, walks okay on leash, though he doesn't like cars, and needs some desensitizing and distraction. Some training and consistency will go far!
