Name: Glenda Breeds: Shar Pei (mix?) Age: Mature Adult Sex: Female Size: ~40 lbs Glenda is an older Shar Pei (mix?) who is petite, sweet, and adorable. She is great with dogs, didn’t even bother with the cats, and loves all people. She is a senior girl, about 8 years old, though in overall good health other than seemingly not having all (or any) hearing. Glenda is lazy, laid-back, and just wants a couch to snooze on and someone to take her walks. She jumps for joy when you take her leash or harness out so she would love a home who wants a pup to go on walks with. She walks well on the leash. Glenda is housetrained, crates well, and is beyond the crazy puppy stages of chewing things. She doesn't bark, she really doesn't make a peep, except for her cute snore in the middle of the night. She easily goes into her crate and will sleep the whole night. Her foster got her a bed, and you will never see a rescue dog as grateful as when Glenda got a bed. The only thing she's more excited for than her bed, is going for a walk. You'd never guess she was a senior when your bring the leash out! She wants a retirement home with places to snooze and people to walk her and love on her. She doesn't need much, but love and lots of pets. She's a shadow dog, that follows you around to make sure you're ok, and then leans into anyone she meets for some loving. Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $300 + tax. Sweet Alba. How can you not love that adorable face Alba is a Sharpei mix. Unfortunately she didn't have a good life as was found taking cover and hiding out in the bathroom stalls at the Missions baseball field. All that is behind her now and she is ready for her own family!! Alba's great with dogs, not sure about cats. She does a cute little dance when waiting for her food in her crate. Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. This is Pete! Pete is a very chill dog who gets along well with everyone! A sturdy, black, medium-sized Chinese Shar-Pei mix Pete will be your steadfast companion. Pete has a sweet temperament and average energy level, with occasional zoomies but tires easily. Pete is still learning the ropes and is not yet crate trained but is house broken. He has not been fully exposed to other dogs and cats but seems to tolerate both fine and has never had any issue. Pete just wants to relax and be near people and that's it! It is a pleasure to introduce Puddy. He was born September 11,  2023. Originally he was thought to be a boxer mix but one of his siblings had a DNA test done and it came back as a beagle mix, not boxer at all. He’s still young at 1 year but a very lovely sweetheart. He’s calm, gentle and has positive energy. He loves cuddling and attention but also does well waiting for love when you are busy. Puddy is fully potty trained, sleeps all night in his kennel, good with kids and other puppies. I think he could be a very good fit for an emotional support friend. He loves running alongside us while biking for exercise and does great. Please give Puddy and opportunity to be part of your heart, you will never regret it! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. She loves people so much but needs reminders of her manners not to grab food or drinks. She is very food motivated but she is not a fan of fruits or veggies.  She does know how to sit, she just needs reminding when people are eating as she get over excited.  She love kids and other dogs she is not bad with cats, but most of the time she just wants to play! She bows at our old kitties and barks in a playful way but they don’t have the energy zoomies like she does. We are working very hard on house training but she does still have the occasional accident. She’s a jumper that’s for sure doesn’t bark much except when startled by the cats. Raz is still learning that it is ok to be alone and learning that crates are ok but she will settle down or take her treats and toys into the crate.- She would perfer to be with her people.  Still takes a few naps a day and overall pretty easy going pup she loves to chew on bones and go to the doggie park and run run run as well as in our fenced puppy play area at our apartment. She usually goes to the door & whimpers when she has to go outside. She loves to nestle in a big fuzzy blanket or next to her foster Mamma and does her cute snore while she’s sleeping. She walks pretty well on her leash but will try to hold her leash and try to walk herself. She is so funny when she gallops around with her toys and loves playing ball.
