It is a pleasure to introduce Puddy. He was born September 11,  2023. Originally he was thought to be a boxer mix but one of his siblings had a DNA test done and it came back as a beagle mix. He’s a puppy; a very lovely sweetheart. He’s calm, gentle and has positive energy. He loves cuddling and attention but also does well waiting for love when you are busy. Puddy is fully potty trained, sleeps all night in his kennel, good with kids and other puppies. I think he could be a very good fit for an emotional support friend. She is good with other larger respectful dogs, kids, and absolutely NO cats. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. Isabela is finally learning to be a Boxer for the 1st time in her life. She may take a day or two to adjust after her move. She is crate trained and potty trained, she also does well on a leash. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yukon (Yuki) was dumped at a high kill shelter in West Texas. He is deaf, but that does not slow him down. Best fit home would have a fenced in yard to keep him safe and a companion dog. He is good with other dogs, kids, and cats (dog savvy ones because he likes to chase to play and lick them). All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.  Yuki can be shy at first but don't let that foolw you, he quickly warms up and is the best boy. He is a smart boy who learned signs and schedules fast. He loves to run and play with dogs (and cats but he doesn't understand his size to theirs). He loves everyone he meets and thinks all dogs are his friends. He is working on leash skills, but he doesn't quite understand it yet. This little guy is about 40 lbs of playful and fun energy. He’s sweet and good with people and other dogs. He’s about 2.5 years old and is a mixed breed but a really cool Mixed breed. I mean look at his cute ears. He’s adorable. He’s already crate trained and house trained. NO CATS. He is not fond of cats. Probably won’t do well with smaller rodent type animals either. He will scream SQUIRREL! And the rest is history. Haha. He would do well with children over the age of 10 because he’s very playful and may knock smaller children down during playtime. Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He has since recovered fully and is ready to find his forever family! Gus was far too interested in the cats when we cat tested him as his herding instincts are present with these types of animals. However, he is great with other dogs and we use him to help introduce new dogs to the rescue. He also does fantastic with the 3 year old human on the rescue property! Gus has gone out on multiple Doggie Day Outs and did so well each time! He was his happiest self at the dog park with his rescue buddy (Folly) who has since been adopted. He likes to meet new people and go for car rides! We think he could be a heeler mix because of the speckles but we truly still don’t have a great idea about breed. The regrowth of hair didn’t help us with this as much as we thought it would 😂 Note: Since Gus has a history of Demodex mange, this means he is genetically predisposed to this condition if he does not take flea/tick prevention regularly. I’m Stella, a 3-year-old Boxer Bulldog mix. I’m a relaxed and lazy girl around the house, always on the lookout for a cozy spot to chew on my favorite bone or snuggle with my foster siblings and humans. One of my favorite pastimes is watching the neighborhood squirrels from the window—I've gotten so good at calmly observing them without barking! My favorite toys are filled bones, my two beloved pink toys that I love to shred, and a stuffed elephant with a squeaker that I love to destroy. While I'm not the biggest fan of being outside, I've grown to enjoy my daily walks, especially now that I'm more comfortable on a leash. A big yard with a tall fence would be great for me, especially for potty training and using up some energy. I'm making huge strides in my leash training and learning how to go on walks. Having another dog in my foster home show me how has been helpful. Speaking of potty breaks, I’m doing great with potty training, although have had accidents in my kennel. I usually go potty on the concrete or the back porch, but I’m learning to use the grass too! I’m very smart and have been working hard on my house manners and know some cool commands like 'Sit,' 'Come,' 'Kennel/Crate,' 'Outside,' and 'Go Potty.' I absolutely adore kids, but I can get a bit excited and might accidentally knock over small children. I’m working on being gentle but don’t always know my size. I love to play with other confident dogs after a slow introduction and enjoy running and playing with them. I do get excited around cats at first, but once I settle in, I mostly ignore them. I’m what you would call a high-energy dog and it can appear as high energy reactiveness when I meet new dogs, so an experienced dog owner that can do proper introductions would help me remember to be polite and thrive.  I’m a sweet, loving girl who would thrive in an active family with dog experience and perhaps some kids to play and cuddle with. I need a confident pet parent who understands different play styles and dog body language to monitor me during playtime. I promise to bring lots of joy and love to my forever family. Hey, I’m Surly. I’m a 10 year old English Bulldog. Although I am 10, I definitely still have some spunk in me.  I enjoy short walks but will definitely tell you when I’m over my walk and want to go back home to sleep on the couch.  I love cuddles and being covered up with a blanket while I sleep. I have a lot of sass and will tell you when I need something. I expect you to share every dish of food you make with me. I am potty and kennel trained but love being left out of the kennel to snooze on the couch while you’re away.I would never get into anything in the home and don’t really play with toys but I absolutely love bones.  I should go to a calmer house to live out my golden years. I have gotten 8 teeth removed so I’ll need yearly dental check ups to ensure the rest of my teeth are in good health and stay nice and clean. I had some masses on my body tested but they came back benign so thankfully everything is clear there. There should be no issues going forward. I am good with cats. I’ll either cuddle with them or ignore them depending on my mood. I am okay with dogs as long as they are calm and leave my food alone. I don’t like when other dogs are playing or running around too much. I’m a great car rider as well. On our walks or out in public, I really love meeting strangers and letting them say hi to me. I normally will stop walking when someone is approaching in hopes that they will see me staying at them and say hi to me! I have such a big personality and would love a bed to sleep in. Oh yeah, I always sleep in bed cuddled up next to my foster momma as well! I will definitely make you laugh every day. I am just a goof ball of a doggo and would love to meet you! Hi, it’s me Sieta again - I have been with my foster family about 3 ½ months and boy have I grown. Mom says I am turning into a beautiful, graceful long legged girl! One of my siblings got adopted and his furever family did a DNA test. It shows he is 52% Argentine Dogo and 100% good dog. I love every human I meet as well as dogs of all sizes. I’ve spent some time with 2 temp fosters because mom & dad went on vacation. Both of them said I was amazing! Deb even said I walk on a leash better than her dog!! I love going on walks as well as playing fetch. Mom lets me play tug for a few seconds when I bring the toy back but as soon as she says “give” I let go. I know sit, down, off (I very seldom jump up), come or touch and am working on shake. Mom is so amazed with how smart I am, she keeps telling people I am training myself. I just want to please everyone. I bark some when people walk by, my foster sisters taught me this, but if mom or dad tells me to stop I listen. I love going to new places and exploring! I do get sick in the car so mom and dad make sure they don’t feed me too much if we are going somewhere and I take Dramamine. This has helped a ton! I am about 90% potty trained. I sleep in my kennel at night but would really love to snuggle with you. I am a love bug! Gotta go – mom wants to play fetch. Hope to see you soon.
