They are good with other dogs, people, and dog savvy cats . All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. Miss Goofy Goose is stilll very puppy like, has perfected the puppy dog eyes look and she is not afraid to use them to her benefit. She lives up to the Goofy and silly Goose names with her anitics, so it's a perfect combination for her name. She is great with kids, kennels well (will bark if she hears something), is respectful of cats (she would love one who will play with her) and loves other dogs of all ages and sizes. If the dogs won't play with her at home, she will eventually give up and entertain herself. She looks to them for cues for what is appropriate and for confidence. She has a good amount of curiosity and energy to burn, so a fenced yard is best for her, A a dog park would not be ideal at this time as she doesn't always pick up on cues from dogs right away until she knows them better. which can land her in some trouble with the wrong dog and someone not paying attention. She has been working on potty training and doing great with frequent outings when people are home. She does great when kenneled during the day but the end of the day gets antsy and may vocalize to go outside. She catches on quickly to new tricks, is eagar to please especially when treats are involved, and is an amazing snuggler. Cheeto is a 13, going on 14 year old Boxer/ Pug mix that was adopted when he was 1 year old. He's super cuddly and loves being by your side whenever possible. He does well with other dogs, no current or past problems with dogs or with cats, he currently has a brother and sister that are of the feline species and has been around kids of all ages his whole life. He enjoys walks but with his age, this is not something that needs to happen everyday. He is up to date on all of his shots and was neutered when he was a pup. He does have a few lumps and bumps but they have all been considered benign by his Vet. It is getting harder for him to get up and down stairs but he is still attempting to race up and down them every time. His perfect home would be with someone who is home most of the day and can let him outside when he needs. With his age, he is not able to hold his bladder as well but he is house trained since he was a pup. He is the perfect option for someone looking for a companion.

Meet Dutch, a stocky little hippo in dog form who is 100% convinced she was put on this earth to see ALL THE THINGS—and preferably as quickly as possible! This confident, enthusiastic girl walked into foster care like she owned the place and hasn’t looked back. She’s friendly, wiggly, loves everyone, and has never met a lap she didn’t want to climb into. Dutch is smart, strong, and FULL of personality. She’s potty trained, knows “sit” and “kennel,” takes treats politely, rides beautifully in the car, and can happily hang out in her kennel with a good chew while you’re away. She’s also been doing great in a home with several lower-energy dogs, although she’d love a canine buddy who can safely match her enthusiasm. Because she can be a little too enthusiastic about chasing smaller dogs, a home without small dogs is recommended for now. Dutch is also an enthusiastic alarm barker. When she sees something exciting—or someone she thinks might be a potential new best friend—she can make sure the entire neighborhood knows about it! Her big bark and excited wiggles might look intimidating to someone who doesn’t know dogs, but underneath it all, she’s usually just saying, “HI! ARE WE FRIENDS YET?!” She does settle quickly with direction, though. While at work with her foster, she was able to sit quietly and behave while her foster talked with a customer and was completely relaxed again in no time. Because of her vocal enthusiasm, a home without shared walls would likely be the best fit. This girl has energy to spare! Walks are still a work in progress—when Dutch gets going, that little tank can pull! She’ll need a family who enjoys training and wants to give her plenty of physical and mental outlets. Adventures, hikes, learning new skills, and maybe even some appropriate pulling activities could be right up her alley. Dutch is working on her manners, especially keeping all four feet on the floor. She adores her people and is absolutely convinced that personal space is optional. She’s been wonderful with her foster’s 8-year-old, but because she doesn’t quite realize how solid she is, a home with older kids is recommended. And then there’s her face. Those wrinkles, those expressions, and the occasional lip stuck on her teeth will keep you laughing. 😂 Dutch may be built like a tank, but underneath all that muscle is a very sweet girl who is simply thrilled to be out of the impound and back in a home. Dutch is looking for a confident, committed human who will give her clear boundaries, continued training, and plenty of opportunities to put her big personality and endless enthusiasm to work. Hello, my name is Frodo or Fitzgerald! I’m a 2.5 year old happy energetic pup that’s listed as a Great Dane Mix. I’m overall pretty friendly with all. I am kennel trained and a great eater, which means I’m also fun to teach new tricks to! I would be best suited to go to a new home that has a schedule and lifestyle that I can be a huge part of. Since I’m young and full of energy I would do best in a fenced in yard or have the ability to have new activities I can be a part of like hiking or day trips to explore new places. I need solid leadership as sometimes I need to be a little recentered or refocused when I get over stimulated. Because of this, I would be best in a place without young children as I’m still a little uncoordinated from time to time and little kid energy is a bit confusing for me. Kids who are a little older and are interested in helping train me are definitely an exception. Basically from the get go I’m going to just need consistency throughout everyone in the household to help me learn the rules so I can settle in successfully. My current foster mom does in-home boarding at our house so I spend my days meeting new dogs and some new people, so I am pretty well socialized and very much thrive with all the constant stimulation. I do best meeting others outside my kennel in an open space, I tend to be submissive and take appropriate correction from dogs older than me, very well as I’m constantly learning ways to play with all different sizes and breeds. I can't wait to find my forever family! Meet Finn, a Pit Bull born approx 12/2/24. Finn is a BIG, loyal boy with so much love (and kisses) to give. He is house trained and accustomed to a home with a fully fenced yard and an oversized dog door. Finn is also kennel trained, and his XL kennel can go with him to his forever home. Hi I’m Anne! My family says I am the sweetest girl :) My favorite thing is to curl up in a cozy spot (preferably somebody’s bed) and take a nap. I also like to play with my toys, but I have to be careful because I have a heart condition and if I play too hard or get too excited, I have mini seizures that cause me to lose my balance and tip over. In more severe situations, I could experience a more serious seizure-like episode. I’m super sweet and gentle. I do well in and out of my crate and have only had a few accidents. My family has left me alone for up to seven hours and I have done just fine. I love meeting new people, but I’m not so sure about dogs. I can be around them, but if they get too close I might let them know. But my family thinks that with some training, I might be able to make some friends and maybe even live with other dogs. I also love riding in the car! I like staring out the window, and then when I am bored of that, I like to curl up in the back seat and take a nap. I know my basic commands, but my family says I’m stubborn because I don’t always like to listen when they call my name and they want my attention. They also say I’m being dramatic when I give them my pouty eyes. I do okay on walks, but I need to use a harness since I do like to wander and explore and of course if I see a squirrel, rabbit, or another dog, I want to get a closer look! I would do best with someone who likes to lay around with me and understands my physical limitations. Due to my heart condition, it is hard to predict how much time I have left, but I hope to find someone who is willing to love me anyway!
