If you need a “Clue” about what breed these are, just look at their parents. These pups are going to be fairly large - we are guessing 60+ pounds. They are very chill and love attention. They have done well with children, other dogs and cats. They are not housebroken and will need to have someone available during the day to take them out every 2-3 hours. A fenced yard and a playmate would be ideal. The adoption fee is $400 which includes a microchip and spay/neuter surgery once old enough, as well as age appropriate vaccinations through adoption. Greetings, I'm Mint, an 8-month-old girl with a mix. My journey began when I was just a 2-week-old baby, arriving at the city shelter along with my seven siblings and loving Mom. I bring a delightful and sociable spirit with me. One of my brothers found a loving home in Seattle through fostering, and it was love at first sight for his foster family. We're a charming bunch! Yet, the rest of my siblings, including myself, are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. All of us are a delightful blend of friendly, funny, and undeniably cute. Strength? That's a matter of perspective. I consider myself innocent and gentle, always eager for playful adventures. Food is a joy, but I'm no guard—sharing with friends is more my style. My energy level is moderate, and I enjoy playtime with pals while maintaining a calm demeanour indoors. Petting me is a breeze, and my wobbly tail is a testament to my happiness. I'm the epitome of cheerfulness—always ready with a wagging tail, especially when making eye contact. Fun, playful, clownish, and smart--the words that seem to describe Moose. This super cute fella was picked up by the Burlington Police Department and brought to BAS. He`s definitely not a criminal and did nothing wrong, he was just a lost pup who didn`t find his way back home. Moose is at least 5 years old and knows some basic commands. He has a happy and friendly personality, and he`s ready to bring much laughter, happiness, and love to a lucky person or family`s life. Moose did test positive for heartworm but we will be taking care of the treatment, so no worries! Moose is hoping to meet you today, so come visit us soon!Dog Day Out, 8/1/24:We went to Cates Farm Trail and Cedarock Park to visit the goats. We also got a pup cup from Starbucks and played outside. Moose walks well on leash, is treat motivated, and was very relaxed in the car. He did not give me a hard time at all.Dog Day Out, 6/21/24:I took Moose on a nice walk through Willowbrook Arboretum. He walked nicely on a leash. He pulled on the leash a bit but that’s only because he wanted to sniff ALL THE THINGS! Afterwards, we got a pup cup, which he loved. He was a great car traveler, either standing in the back seat to look out the window or lying quietly. He enjoyed hanging out at my house and did not react to my other dog or cats. He took treats gently from my hand and had no accidents in the house. Moose especially loved chewing on his toy and trying to get to the treats hidden inside! If you are looking for a grown, more relaxed dog who enjoys hanging out with his human/s, then Moose is perfect for you!Dog Day Out, 5/4/24:It was a rainy day when Moose had his outing, so we sat under some shade and played with so many toys. We took a stroll around Elon`s campus, and Moose was happy to meet so many new human friends. He spent most of his time chewing on awesome toys, running around, and meeting new friends.
