He’s been in foster care for two years, and during that time he’s shown himself to be an incredibly loving, well-mannered, and loyal companion. Like many thoughtful dogs, Paxton can take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, his sweet and affectionate personality shines through. It doesn’t take long at all for him to relax and show just how loving and loyal he is. Paxton is off-leash trained using a remote collar and does beautifully with structure and guidance. He’s house trained, happily crates (his crate is his safe space), and settles well in the home. He’s the kind of dog who thrives on routine but also knows how to relax and just be near his people. One of Paxton’s favorite things? Other dogs. He absolutely loves canine companionship and would do best in a home with another friendly dog to play with and learn from. Patsy is also a silly, spunky, and playful gal who is full of life and entertaining charm. She enjoys her walks and play time. Patsy has also been playfully social with other dogs and she has a fun time wiggling around the yards with a favorite toy (and showing off her buns!) She's a great sport for trying out all sorts of new activities and adventures, and her earnestly enthusiastic, clumsy approach to life is sure to bring a smile to your face. When she's excited, she can get a little jumpy and exuberant and with this and her size, she would do best in a home with older kids and adults.
