Buddy just came in so he is a tad nervous but friendly he is super sweet housebroken and dog friendly. He is 3 years old. Previous owners had to move and couldn’t take him. His skin is a tad itchy but we have him an oatmeal medicated bath and he also got a bravecto for fleas and tick so should be nice and shiny in no time. He has had all his shots and he is hw negative and neutered and microchip adoption fee is $300

Meet Lancel! Lancel is quite the character. She somehow has the energizer bunny living in her body. She wakes up to play and like most children, she tries to skip bedtime to play. She loves a good meal and she loves having others four legged friends to share a meal with. Humans, she is getting use to. She treats humans much like a cat would. She will come over for a little petting behind the ears but when she's done, she's done. This beautiful character will amaze you with her quick reflexes and her desire to earn treats. You will fall in love with her. There's just no way you couldn't.Lancel was part of a breeder dumping situation in Big Sandy Texas. She is about 11 months old and a Shar Pei mix. Huey is young and therefore has a lot of energy. He loves attention and to be kept busy. Huey is active, smart, and loves kids and other dogs. He sees every new face as a potential playmate. He would do best in a home with another play mate or an active family. At the facility he has staff and volunteers that have spent extra time with him in training, teaching commands and helping him take out all his pent-up energy. Huey is always ready for a walk, run, hike or a training session. Extremely treat motivated and very focused of what's being asked of him to do. Huey still needs more training, but he is an amazing dog. He loves to please his person and would love to have a job. His perfect home would be one with one or two people that are very active and super involved in his training or a family that has the time to take him on walks and keep his mind and body active. He won't do well in a house that wants a couch potato dog or calm dog. He needs stimulation to be calm afterwards. He was born in Jan 2020 and is located at the rescue. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. Elsa was born in November 2014. She loves to show off her smile! Elsa loves to play and go on walks. She weighs in at a muscular 74 lbs. and with age she has become somewhat protective and less trusting. While she loves being loved, she is also very protective of those she lives with making her an excellent guardian dog. There is a bump on the top of her head which has been there since birth and has had regular visits for shots/well checks every year. She generally sleeps on a dog bed but has no issue plopping down and taking a nap anywhere. Elsa's best home would be one where she is the only animal in the house and if kids, they should be older. She would love a low traffic household were she can get most of the attention. Animal Services has new operating hours! We will now be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and closed Friday through Sunday. In addition to these hours, we will be available after-hours, including Fridays and Saturdays, by appointment. Along with our new hours, all Wednesday adoptions are now by appointment only to allow our staff more time to prepare for Thursday vax-shacks and surgery days.Adoption fees for dogs are $100.00 (unless otherwise noted), which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, and worming.
