Meet Lancel! Lancel was part of a breeder dumping situation in Big Sandy Texas. She is an almost 4 year old Shar Pei mix. Even with the trauma of being dumped Lancel is quite the character. She somehow has the energizer bunny living in her body. She wakes up to play and like most children, she tries to skip bedtime to play. She loves a good meal and she loves having others four legged friends to share a meal with. Humans, she is getting use to. She treats humans much like a cat would. She will come over for a little petting behind the ears but when she’s done, she’s done. This beautiful character will amaze you with her quick reflexes and her desire to earn treats. Meet SharShar!SharShar is a 2-year-old male Chinese Shar-Pei mix with the fluffiest coat and a truly sweet, soulful nature. He is a confident, beautiful spirit who enjoys playing with his foster siblings and naturally steps into a leadership role within the pack. He likes to believe he is in charge, and honestly, he does a wonderful job. When the dogs go outside, SharShar makes sure everyone comes back in. He never leaves a pup behind.His foster, who has experience with Shar-Peis, says SharShar is hands down the most enjoyable she has ever had. He knows basic commands and will even ring a bell to let you know when he needs to go outside. He is house trained, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines.SharShar does take time to warm up to new people. Trust is not something he gives away easily, but once you earn it, you gain one of the most loyal and devoted companions you could ask for. He forms deep bonds and loves his people wholeheartedly. Bowie is a handsome 4-year-old short-coat English Bull Terrier (not a pit) + Great Pyrenees mix with a sweet face and a heart that deserves all the love in the world. He has been a deeply loved companion, and finding him a new home is one of the hardest decisions our family has had to make. Through no fault of his own, changing work schedules and a move to an apartment mean we need to find Bowie a home where he can continue to thrive and be the wonderful companion he is. Bowie gets along well with other dogs, but he’s also perfectly happy being the only pup soaking up his family's love. Whether he’s sharing his space with a furry friend or enjoying life as someone's one-and-only, he has the potential to make a wonderful addition to the right home. My adoption fee is $85 which comes with a personalized tag and collar! Feel free to visit me at the animal shelter Monday through Friday 11 AM to 5PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 2PM.I’m soft, sweet, and a little bit cheesy, in the best way. I’m one of the most loving dogs you’ll meet, and I’m happy to share all of that love with you.When I meet someone new, I start out a little shy. I’ll roll over and show you my belly, and that’s my way of saying hello. Once I know you’re a friend, I’m ready for a good play session.I’ve played with kids in the shelter yard and I really like them. I get very excited to meet them and match their energy, so I’d do best with kids who like to play. I’m still learning my house manners, and a crate or kennel would help me get there. With a proper introduction, I could probably get along with most dogs.
