Meet APRIL! April is a gorgeous, 3-4 year old, female Sharpei mix. This gal is sweet, friendly, and lovable. This tail wagging pup loves to get pets, is learning how to play, and also settles down nicely -- April can chill comfortably when you are busy with your work. She has great house manners and would be fine in apartments/condos as well as houses; she would be great with a single person, couple, or family with older children (e.g., 8 or above). April is smart, and LOVES to go for walks. Poor April found herself in a rural overcapacity shelter! No one came to look for her! She is so happy that PetConnect has come to her rescue to find a forever family that will give her the attention that she deserves and never end up in such a scary place as a kill-shelter ever again. Unfortunately, April arrived to PetConnect extremely obese and has been on a steady weight reduction plan; she has made great progress -- already losing 10 pounds, and will need to continue so that she can get to a healthy weight of 45-50 pounds! April would love to curl up with you to hang out on a cool spring night; she loves to get pets! She would be an excellent new member of the family!
