Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Skye is a 3-year-old, 45 lb Shar-Pei/Pit Bull mix who is looking for her forever home. Skye loves to be with her people and would thrive with a family that wants to give her lots of love and continue her basic training. She is very loving with people and loves to play ball in the yard. Skye is active but also likes to lounge. She would make a great active buddy followed by movie nights cuddling on the couch. She gives the best hugs. She has been in the kennel environment for some time and will need a family that can continue training with her, she knows sit and will work for treats! Skye is reactive to other dogs and needs to be the only dog in the home and would be best suited in a standalone home with a fenced yard. No apartment or city life for her. With training and support her reactivity could definitely improve. No cats or small critters. We are looking for a home with kids over 12 or adult only, Skye can jump when she is excited and is still learning manners! Skye is UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Hi, I’m Loki. I am a one year old, cream colored Lab/Shar Pei mix, around 50 lbs. I prefer hanging with adults, so I’d be a better fit in a house without little kids. I’m a bit of a leaner … okay maybe I’m a huge leaner but I love to cuddle when you pat me. I like playing with other pups, and I really like the ladies (wink, wink). I have medium energy, so it would be great if my new family has a yard. I’m working on my manners, house and crate training. My foster mom thinks I’m really smart. I already know how to walk on a leash and LOVE car rides. Are you looking for that very special boy to join your family? I’m right here and can’t wait to meet you. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

My journey began at the city shelter when I was just a 2-week-old baby, accompanied by my loving Mom and seven siblings. While one of my seven siblings found a happy home through fostering, I and my other siblings are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit.   What Makes Me Unique!Picture this: lovely chocolate fur, long legs adorned with white socks, and eyes that exude innocence, much like a baby angel.I’m a social butterfly, adoring people so much that I’ll gladly sit on a stranger’s lap upon our first meeting. Playing with friends is a delight for me, and if I discover a cherished toy, I’ll quietly retreat to a corner to enjoy it.   Special NotesMy nature is gentle and kind; even if friends approach me while I’m with my toys, I’ll simply relocate without any fuss or growls. If you’re seeking a puppy friend to always bring a smile to your face and shower you with love, then I’m the perfect companion.Consider adopting me, and I promise to become a cherished and lovable member of your family. My journey began at the city shelter when I was just a 2-week-old baby, accompanied by my loving Mom and seven siblings. We’re a charming bunch! While one of my seven siblings found a happy home through fostering, my other siblings and I are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit.I’m a social butterfly, adoring people so much. I allow strangers to touch or hug me. I’m a very nice, innocent soul. And I’m an extreme toy lover. If I have a toy I like, I go to the corner alone and play with it quietly without my friends knowing. I grew up in a shelter as a baby, so I have less experience. I still need to learn how to eat snacks. When I go for a walk, my tail goes down in unfamiliar places. I wish I had a family who could teach me the taste of delicious snacks and the joy of walking. I will be your lovely and good family member.I’m in a shelter in Korea and ready to fly anywhere in Seattle or Vancouver if you call my name.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Cinnamon's YouTube Playlist ##2260980##

Story
Millie is a sharpei/heeler mix that’s about 35lbs and a little over a year old. Incredibly cute, smart, and easy to train. She knows all basic commands and is completely potty trained. She is very playful, energetic, eager to please and enjoys learning new tricks. She loves to run outside and has great recall but when it’s time to settle inside she is a complete love bug and will snuggle up on your lap with her velvet wrinkly face. She does really well around other dogs, horses, and adores children but not sure about cats (never been around them to know but she’s fairly adaptable so I think she’d probably do fine). She is very much a working dog in the body of a teddy bear and would thrive on having a job but is totally content to just quietly keep the couch warm while you are at work. She is a total sweetheart!

These pups are in Lake Forest Park, Washington too!

Story
Say hello to Bella, the charming and spirited pup who’s ready to steal your heart! Bella is all about playtime, especially with her fellow rescue pals—she could spend hours frolicking in the yard! While it may take her a little time to warm up, once Bella trusts you, she’ll shower you with endless affection and loyalty. Bella thrives on slow introductions with well-balanced dogs, making her an ideal companion for other furry friends that match her energy. She’s crate-trained and settles in easily, though her playful nature means doggy beds don’t stand a chance—they quickly become her favorite toys! Highly motivated by treats, Bella is eager to learn and responds well to training. She walks well on a leash but can get easily distracted, so a gentle leader might help her focus during outings. Though Bella prefers the comforts of home, she’ll need a little encouragement to embrace the joys of a walk. She can feel anxious around other dogs on her adventures, sometimes expressing her excitement a bit loudly. But remember, every rescue has their quirks, and Bella’s incredible qualities far outweigh any challenges! Bella is ready to find her forever home with a family that understands and loves her just as she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your days with joy, Bella is the perfect match! To add Bella to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2149754##
