Story
Greetings, I'm Mint, an 8-month-old girl with a mix. My journey began when I was just a 2-week-old baby, arriving at the city shelter along with my seven siblings and loving Mom. I bring a delightful and sociable spirit with me. One of my brothers found a loving home in Seattle through fostering, and it was love at first sight for his foster family. We're a charming bunch! Yet, the rest of my siblings, including myself, are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. All of us are a delightful blend of friendly, funny, and undeniably cute. Strength? That's a matter of perspective. I consider myself innocent and gentle, always eager for playful adventures. Food is a joy, but I'm no guard—sharing with friends is more my style. My energy level is moderate, and I enjoy playtime with pals while maintaining a calm demeanour indoors. Petting me is a breeze, and my wobbly tail is a testament to my happiness. I'm the epitome of cheerfulness—always ready with a wagging tail, especially when making eye contact. If you're in search of a bright and cheerful companion, look no further—meet me and let's create a beautiful bond! Story
Hello, I'm Bay, an adorable 8-month-old SharPei mix boy eagerly awaiting my forever home. My journey began at the city shelter when I was just a 2-week-old baby, accompanied by my loving Mom and seven siblings. While one of my seven siblings found a happy home through fostering, I and my other siblings are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit. Picture this: lovely chocolate fur, long legs adorned with white socks, and eyes that exude innocence, much like a baby angel. I'm a social butterfly, adoring people so much that I'll gladly sit on a stranger's lap upon our first meeting. Playing with friends is a delight for me, and if I discover a cherished toy, I'll quietly retreat to a corner to enjoy it. My nature is gentle and kind; even if friends approach me while I'm with my toys, I'll simply relocate without any fuss or growls. If you're seeking a puppy friend to always bring a smile to your face and shower you with love, then I'm the perfect companion. Consider adopting me, and I promise to become a cherished and lovable member of your family. Let's create a beautiful bond and fill your home with joy and love together. And I'm an extreme toy lover. If I have a toy I like, I go to the corner alone and play with it quietly without my friends knowing. I grew up in a shelter as a baby, so I have less experience. I still need to learn how to eat snacks. When I go for a walk, my tail goes down in unfamiliar places. I wish I had a family who could teach me the taste of delicious snacks and the joy of walking. I will be your lovely and good family member. I'm in a shelter in Korea and ready to fly anywhere in Seattle or Vancouver if you call my name. Story
Skye is a 1-2 year old, 45-50lb Shar Pei/Pit Bull who is looking for her forever home. Skye loves to be with her people and would thrive with a family that wants to give her lots of love and continue her basic training. Skye is active but also likes to lounge. She would make a great active buddy followed by movie nights in cuddling on the couch. She will need a family that can continue training with her, she knows sit and will work for treats! Skye is reactive to other dogs and needs to be the only dog in the home and would be best suited not living in a super dog populated area/neighborhood (ex: Downtown Seattle). With training and support who reactivity could definitely improve. No cats or small critters. We are looking for a home with kids over 12 or adult only, Skye can jump when she is excited and is still learning manners! Ideally Skye would have a home with a fenced yard, though could be okay in a quiet condo/townhome with a small private fenced yard. Skye is UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Zara 8 yo female slow intro to other dogs, fearful fostered in Everett, WA Hi I’m Zara! I came to the PNW all the way from Southern California. I was a little timid when I first came into rescue, but I have received a lot of love and patience from my foster family that has helped me settle in and feel safe. I am very affectionate and am eager to please. I will do most anything such as going in my crate for a good treat. I don’t enjoy being home alone for long periods so if I can go with you, I love car rides, otherwise a family that is home most of the time would be best for me. I do well with other dogs that are my size, so a home with a buddy might be nice. I don’t enjoy small dogs or other small animals. If you would like to adopt her, fill out an adoption application on our website www.nwboxerrescue.org Like us on facebook for more photos of this pretty girl, as well as other boxers we have available!  www.facebook.com/northwestboxerrescue April 24, 2024, 9:26 pm

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Hello! My name is Bully. I was found as a stray and sprung from the shelter by BHNW. Everyone who has come into contact with me gets the giggles at how sweet, affectionate and goofy I am. My one floppy ear gives me great character. My underbite makes me endearing. And my constant wiggles to gain attention and then my sploot (or roll over) as I cannot help myself. SCRATCHES ARE EVERYTHING! I'm really smart and know some basic commands but would do well with a family who can spend some time with obedience training. I want love so much that I become a walking bowling ball very easily. I do seem to have some significant allergy issues. When I came into BHNW, I was a giant scab. Medicated baths have helped a ton but I am constantly itchy and need to figure out why. So far, I seem to be good with non-reactive dogs. But I did get into a scuffle over a highly prized toy that we both wanted. I think I would be good for a family with older children who are dog savvy. I haven't been at all bothered by the squirrels by the door or the birds that land near the window, so if you happen to have a cat that isn't bothered by dogs, I think I'd be ok with that too. If you are looking for a playful, sweet, Velcro dog, I am it! Make sure you get your application in!

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Cupcake is a two-year-old English bulldog that came to Bulldog Haven NW in early August. She has a very sweet and calm personality and loves people, both adults and children. She does like to be the queen of the castle and does not wish to share her home with any kings, princesses, or with any puss and boots for that matter. Cupcake knows commands like sit and come and does well on a leash but will pull if something perks her interest. She also loves squeaky toys and chasing the local squirrels, as well as just chilling on the couch with her humans. Cupcake has no evident medical issues but will undergo a wellness check and medical evaluation soon and will need to be spayed prior to being considered adoptable. In the meantime, we'll continue to get to know her personality and determine the kind of permanent home that will ensure Cupcakes enjoys a peaceful, happy, and well-loved life.
