Story
Greetings, I'm Mint, an 8-month-old girl with a mix. My journey began when I was just a 2-week-old baby, arriving at the city shelter along with my seven siblings and loving Mom. I bring a delightful and sociable spirit with me. One of my brothers found a loving home in Seattle through fostering, and it was love at first sight for his foster family. We're a charming bunch! Yet, the rest of my siblings, including myself, are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. All of us are a delightful blend of friendly, funny, and undeniably cute. Strength? That's a matter of perspective. I consider myself innocent and gentle, always eager for playful adventures. Food is a joy, but I'm no guard—sharing with friends is more my style. My energy level is moderate, and I enjoy playtime with pals while maintaining a calm demeanour indoors. Petting me is a breeze, and my wobbly tail is a testament to my happiness. I'm the epitome of cheerfulness—always ready with a wagging tail, especially when making eye contact. If you're in search of a bright and cheerful companion, look no further—meet me and let's create a beautiful bond! Hello, I'm Bay, an adorable 8-month-old SharPei mix boy eagerly awaiting my forever home. My journey began at the city shelter when I was just a 2-week-old baby, accompanied by my loving Mom and seven siblings. While one of my seven siblings found a happy home through fostering, I and my other siblings are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit. Picture this: lovely chocolate fur, long legs adorned with white socks, and eyes that exude innocence, much like a baby angel. I'm a social butterfly, adoring people so much that I'll gladly sit on a stranger's lap upon our first meeting. Playing with friends is a delight for me, and if I discover a cherished toy, I'll quietly retreat to a corner to enjoy it. My nature is gentle and kind; even if friends approach me while I'm with my toys, I'll simply relocate without any fuss or growls. If you're seeking a puppy friend to always bring a smile to your face and shower you with love, then I'm the perfect companion. Consider adopting me, and I promise to become a cherished and lovable member of your family. Let's create a beautiful bond and fill your home with joy and love together. I still need to learn how to eat snacks. When I go for a walk, my tail goes down in unfamiliar places. I wish I had a family who could teach me the taste of delicious snacks and the joy of walking. I will be your lovely and good family member. I'm in a shelter in Korea and ready to fly anywhere in Seattle or Vancouver if you call my name. Story
Skye is a 1-2 year old, 45-50lb Shar Pei/Pit Bull who is looking for her forever home. Skye loves to be with her people and would thrive with a family that wants to give her lots of love and continue her basic training. Skye is active but also likes to lounge. She would make a great active buddy followed by movie nights in cuddling on the couch. She will need a family that can continue training with her, she knows sit and will work for treats! Skye is reactive to other dogs and needs to be the only dog in the home and would be best suited not living in a super dog populated area/neighborhood (ex: Downtown Seattle). With training and support who reactivity could definitely improve. No cats or small critters. We are looking for a home with kids over 12 or adult only, Skye can jump when she is excited and is still learning manners! Ideally Skye would have a home with a fenced yard, though could be okay in a quiet condo/townhome with a small private fenced yard. Skye is UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Wednesday is around 1 year old and is still very much a puppy! She is a very people oriented dog and although loves to play with other dogs would do fine being the only dog in the home. She would also love to have an active home with children over 8 years old. She currently lives with cats but will chase them so a home without cats or other small animals would be best. She is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to play and snuggle with her humans - they are everything to her! She is lovable, food motivated and a very friendly pooch! Fenced in yard required. Adopters must live in Western Washington.

Story
Meet Albie, a six-year-old Boxer/Husky mix with a heart full of love and a personality that's just as big! He's a quirky companion who loves to cuddle, making him the perfect buddy for movie nights and lazy Sundays. Albie enjoys the great outdoors and is always up for a hike, but he's also just as content spending his days lounging around the house, basking in the comfort of his family's company. With a keen mind, he loves to "have a job" to do, including learning new tricks. He is very well-behaved: listens very well, knows all basic commands, potty trained, crate trained, and loves showing off his tricks. While Albie is a bundle of joy and is a big teddy bear, he does have his unique needs. He prefers being the only pet in the household as he's uncomfortable around other dogs. He has made a lot of progress but will bark and lunge at dogs on walks if he gets within 10 feet of them. He has never bitten another dog, but is afraid of them. A home with a fenced yard would be his paradise

Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4.5-year-old beauty. She is a Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier that weighs about 60 pounds. She is a beautiful grey and tan coat that is shiny and she is not too big of a shedding dog. She is loyal and does get along with dogs. Her preference is smaller male dogs or smaller submissive females. She was adopted as a puppy and returned at 4 years old because she didn’t get along with the other female dog in the home. She loves people and loves kids. She is potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She is very affectionate and slept with her family in the bed at night. She was really nice to all the people she met today at the rescue. She loved cuddles and being petted. We could adopt her locally with other dogs and we can test the dogs out. If she goes outside the state of Texas she would make a great only dog. She would be a great companion dog for someone wanting an outdoor companion on your activities and a dog willing to cuddle when you want to chill and read a book. She is the best of both worlds. She is house trained and goes potty outside. They have worked with trainers so she is skilled as far as training goes and was following direction nicely at the Rescue. She could be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. She if fully vetted, healthy and ready for her forever home. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.
