He loves to play ball and then climb up on the couch and watch a movie. He is a little bundle of love. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and chipped. Story
Sweet Sandy is about 6yrs old and she weighs 50lbs. Sandy is a happy, friendly girl that is overdue for her own forever home. She has been moved around quite a bit in the last few years. She is currently in boarding and here is what her caretakers have to say about her: “Meet Sandy! This sweet and spunky ~50lb, six-year-old Shepherd mix is ready to find her forever home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Sandy is a wonderful dog, and has an adorably unique underbite smile! Sandy is the perfect mix of playful and well-mannered. She has an energetic spirit and loves going on walks, hikes, and any outdoor adventures you’ll take her on. A big fan of water, she’ll happily splash around and play to her heart’s content. She walks well on a leash, seems to know some basic commands, and has a friendly, easygoing demeanor that makes her a joy to be around. Sandy has also done well with other dogs in our care! Whether you’re hitting the trails or just enjoying time in the backyard, Sandy will be your loyal and lively sidekick. She’s ready to bring joy, fun, and plenty of tail wags to her new home.” She has a wonderful temperament and loves meeting new people so lots of walks and social outings will be welcomed. She gets along with friendly, playful, polite, medium size dogs, too, so play dates would be great. She does not need another dog in the home. She plays too rough with small dogs and does not like cats so no small animals in the home, please. Sandy is a very quiet girl so with a little training she could be a great office dog companion. She is fully house and crate trained so she can stay home for a reasonable amount of hours. She is very wiggly and silly, so she may knock down young children so kids must be over 12yrs old. A 5ft or higher, securely fenced yard is best. For more information or to schedule a meet and greet, please contact Tamera at k9cabbie@gmail.com or Bernice at bernicebellamy@aol.com

Story
Bea is such a little bundle of joy! She has started showing her spunky personality as she becomes more comfortable in our foster home. There`s absolutely no way that seeing her cute face could not bring a smile to your face. She does great in the house with the occasional zoomies, but is otherwise sleeping soundly on the couch and snoring away. She gets along and has played really well with other dogs we have introduced her to. While she does like being outside when it’s time to go for walks or adventures, she is perfectly content snuggling up with you and chewing on her squeaky toy.The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Looking for an adventure buddy? Want a friend for your dog? Dixie loves spending time with her dog friends, and she likes an adventure as much as she enjoys her time snoozing on the couch. Dixie is definitely a dog's dog. With time, she'll bond with her new person, but at the beginning of a relationship, if she has to choose the dog or the person, she'll pick the dog every time! She's a great age (between 1 and 2 years) and what many would consider a perfect size (about 50 pounds). If you're looking for a well-rounded pup you can hit the trails with, go out for drinks to celebrate and then crash on the couch when you get home, Dixie is your girl!

Story
Hi, I’m Loki. I am a one year old, cream colored Lab/Shar Pei mix, around 50 lbs. I prefer hanging with adults, so I’d be a better fit in a house without little kids. I’m a bit of a leaner … okay maybe I’m a huge leaner but I love to cuddle when you pat me. I like playing with other pups, and I really like the ladies (wink, wink). I have medium energy, so it would be great if my new family has a yard. I’m working on my manners, house and crate training. My foster mom thinks I’m really smart. I already know how to walk on a leash and LOVE car rides. Are you looking for that very special boy to join your family? I’m right here and can’t wait to meet you. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
