Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Dog Hannah is a 8 mos old 40 lb Shar Pei/Retriever/Black Mouth Cur mix (medium sized mixed breed dog).  She is a wonderful, sweet, low energy pup that is shy at first, but once she is used to you, she loves you forever.  She loves hanging out with family. She is learning about all new things.  She knows sit and shake and loves her dog bed.  Learning to walk on a leash.  She will require a securely fenced yard, continued dog training.    L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Sweet Sandy is about 6yrs old and she weighs 50lbs. Sandy is a happy, friendly girl that is overdue for her own forever home. She has been moved around quite a bit in the last few years. She is currently in boarding and here is what her caretakers have to say about her: “Meet Sandy! This sweet and spunky ~50lb, six-year-old Shepherd mix is ready to find her forever home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Sandy is a wonderful dog, and has an adorably unique underbite smile! Sandy is the perfect mix of playful and well-mannered. She has an energetic spirit and loves going on walks, hikes, and any outdoor adventures you’ll take her on. A big fan of water, she’ll happily splash around and play to her heart’s content. She walks well on a leash, seems to know some basic commands, and has a friendly, easygoing demeanor that makes her a joy to be around. Sandy has also done well with other dogs in our care! Whether you’re hitting the trails or just enjoying time in the backyard, Sandy will be your loyal and lively sidekick. She’s ready to bring joy, fun, and plenty of tail wags to her new home.” She has a wonderful temperament and loves meeting new people so lots of walks and social outings will be welcomed. She gets along with friendly, playful, polite, medium size dogs, too, so play dates would be great. She does not need another dog in the home. She plays too rough with small dogs and does not like cats so no small animals in the home, please. Sandy is a very quiet girl so with a little training she could be a great office dog companion. She is fully house and crate trained so she can stay home for a reasonable amount of hours. She is very wiggly and silly, so she may knock down young children so kids must be over 12yrs old. Looking for an adventure buddy? Want a friend for your dog? Dixie loves spending time with her dog friends, and she likes an adventure as much as she enjoys her time snoozing on the couch. Dixie is definitely a dog's dog. With time, she'll bond with her new person, but at the beginning of a relationship, if she has to choose the dog or the person, she'll pick the dog every time! She's a great age (between 1 and 2 years) and what many would consider a perfect size (about 50 pounds). If you're looking for a well-rounded pup you can hit the trails with, go out for drinks to celebrate and then crash on the couch when you get home, Dixie is your girl!

HI - I'M JULIE! I'm a sweet 9-year-old Shar Pei/Staffie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting for awhile for a home and that's a bit sad, but I'm still hopeful my person or people will come along. I only weigh about 52 lbs and am an affectionate snuggle bug. I prefer to be the only dog in the home and prefer people to dogs so would do best with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm not a fan of cats either, so no kitties for me please. I am in great athletic shape and still love to go for walks and hikes. And I love the water! I also love the fresh air and the feeling of the sunshine on my back. Could you give me a chance and foster or adopt me?
