Story
Rollo is a gentle giant. He is a 4 year old Shar Pei mix that we adopted as a puppy from El Paso. He has moved multiple times across the country and loved car rides. He is a very good family dog and has loved and protected our kids. He lives for walks but is content to be a big lazy boy at home. We have never had a behavioral issues with him, but he does play aggressively with med/large dogs so I would not suggest being in a multi dog home without being ready to show a lot of attention and training. It breaks our hearts but we are moving overseas and he won’t be able to come due to his size. He is friendly and loving and deserves the best home and forever family.

He loves to play ball and then climb up on the couch and watch a movie. He is a little bundle of love. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and chipped. Sweet Sandy is about 6yrs old and she weighs 50lbs. Sandy is a happy, friendly girl that is overdue for her own forever home. She has been moved around quite a bit in the last few years. She is currently in boarding and here is what her caretakers have to say about her: “Meet Sandy! This sweet and spunky ~50lb, six-year-old Shepherd mix is ready to find her forever home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Sandy is a wonderful dog, and has an adorably unique underbite smile! Sandy is the perfect mix of playful and well-mannered. She has an energetic spirit and loves going on walks, hikes, and any outdoor adventures you’ll take her on. A big fan of water, she’ll happily splash around and play to her heart’s content. She walks well on a leash, seems to know some basic commands, and has a friendly, easygoing demeanor that makes her a joy to be around. Sandy has also done well with other dogs in our care! Whether you’re hitting the trails or just enjoying time in the backyard, Sandy will be your loyal and lively sidekick. She’s ready to bring joy, fun, and plenty of tail wags to her new home.” She has a wonderful temperament and loves meeting new people so lots of walks and social outings will be welcomed. She gets along with friendly, playful, polite, medium size dogs, too, so play dates would be great. She does not need another dog in the home. She plays too rough with small dogs and does not like cats so no small animals in the home, please. Sandy is a very quiet girl so with a little training she could be a great office dog companion. She is fully house and crate trained so she can stay home for a reasonable amount of hours. She is very wiggly and silly, so she may knock down young children so kids must be over 12yrs old. Looking for an adventure buddy? Want a friend for your dog? Dixie loves spending time with her dog friends, and she likes an adventure as much as she enjoys her time snoozing on the couch. Dixie is definitely a dog's dog. With time, she'll bond with her new person, but at the beginning of a relationship, if she has to choose the dog or the person, she'll pick the dog every time! She's a great age (between 1 and 2 years) and what many would consider a perfect size (about 50 pounds). If you're looking for a well-rounded pup you can hit the trails with, go out for drinks to celebrate and then crash on the couch when you get home, Dixie is your girl!
