Rudy is a joyful, playful, and deeply affectionate companion who forms strong bonds with his people and loves being close to them. He was adopted as a puppy from ARF in Walnut Creek and is now 5 years old. Rudy truly shines when he’s out on walks, exploring the world, or joyfully chasing a ball during a game of fetch in wide open fields. After playtime, he’s more than happy to settle in and cuddle up next to his favorite person. Rudy does have some dog reactivity while on leash, but this is manageable with consistent training, structure, and positive reinforcement. He would thrive best in a calm, adult-only home where he can receive plenty of attention, patience, and love. In the right environment, Rudy will be a loyal, loving, and devoted companion who brings warmth and happiness to everyday life

I'm a high energy ball of fun that loves to play with toys but also loves human attention! My friends at PHS say I'm the biggest cuddle bug! I spent some time in foster care where I've done great with crate training and I'm almost completely potty trained! I get a little nervous around new people and in new situations, but I quickly become the life of the party! While I'm super friendly around people and dogs, cats are not for me. I'm hoping for a family that is prepared to continue my training and socialization while also giving me tons of playtime, exercise, and love!
