Story
**✨ Meet Ethel – Your Future Adventure Buddy & Professional Squirrel Spotter! 🐿️❤️** If enthusiasm were an Olympic sport, Ethel would be bringing home the gold! This lovable girl has a huge heart, an even bigger personality, and enough zest for life to keep every day exciting. Whether she's soaking up affection from her favorite humans or keeping a close eye on the neighborhood squirrel population (it's a full-time job, after all), Ethel lives life with her whole heart. Treats? Obsessed. Squirrels? Public enemy #1. Cuddles? Absolutely yes. Ethel walks nicely on leash, but don't be fooled—her prey drive is always on high alert, so she'll need someone who's ready to help her stay focused when wildlife makes an appearance. She's a smart girl who thrives with structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. When she gets overly excited, she can become a little overstimulated, so having a routine helps her be the very best version of herself. Ethel gets along well with other dogs and would love a canine buddy who matches her energy. Because she's an enthusiastic greeter with a tendency to jump when she's excited, she'd do best in a home with older kids who won't be easily knocked over by her joyful welcome committee. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who's equal parts goofy, affectionate, and always ready for your next adventure (or squirrel surveillance mission), Ethel is your girl. She's ready to trade shelter life for a forever home filled with love, guidance, and plenty of snacks. **Ready to meet your new best friend? Ethel is waiting! 🩷**

Story
Meet Mia - The one, the only, the miracle mutt! This 38 pound cutie was past due for euthanasia and was saved in the nick of time #euthlistsurvivor. At just 2 years old she has a heck of a lot more life to live! Mia loves to start her day off by giving her people lots of love and wiggles. As soon as you start walking towards her food for breakfast you can expect her dancing to begin. It’s guaranteed to make you smile! While Mia is protective of the home, she is a very chill princess inside! She loves watching tv (yes full on invested in plots and all) and laying on the couch with her ball. Anything Food Network is sure to grab her attention. She is a very silly girl who loves to play and chew on her toys (certified super chewer). If you need some comedic relief, she’s the girl for you. When it comes to other dogs Mia does well with structured, proper introductions. Her ideal doggie roommate would be a male who is her size or bigger. Kids? Mia loves meeting them but is best suited for a house with kids ages 10+ only due to her playful, jumpy personality. Mia is still working on her leash training. While she does deal with heightened anxiety outdoors, the right person can help her feel at ease. Mia has a super stylish pink muzzle that protects her #gooddogswearmuzzles or her favorite ball will do the job to keep her mouth occupied when she gets a little too excited. Her trainer verified that it’s more than just a ball, it’s her anxiety relief. A calm neighborhood or open park is the ideal place to walk Mia - busy streets and complexes can be overwhelming for this shelter survivor. Mia needs a slow introduction to all men - but once you prove your good intentions you’ll win her heart over. Her (male) trainer and foster uncle are two of her favorite people ever! Bonus Features: - Potty and grass pad pro - Crate trained! She will snooze like a baby if you have to leave the house for a few hours - Part time doorbell + full time cuddle bug If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a genuine sweetheart, and someone to make you laugh you need to give Mia a call! She is currently being fostered in sunny Orange County, California and is taking applications for her forever human! Apply today! www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt

Story
🧡 ADOPT DOROTHY 🧡 Dorothy is a 7–8 year young queen who is finally getting the chance she always deserved and wow, is she soaking it up. She LOVES people of all sizes! She’s the ultimate cuddle bug… the kind of dog who doesn’t just sit next to you, she melts into you. Her favorite move? Tucking her little face into your arm like she’s trying to become one with you 🥹 This sweet girl has: ✨ A derpy, heart-melting smile ✨ The cutest spotted snout you’ve ever seen ✨ A playful, goofy side (yes… she redecorates her crate daily 😂) ✨ A growing love for walks she’s improving on leash every day! Dorothy is dog friendly with medium to large dogs (cats unknown) and would love a home where she can keep blossoming. She may not love car rides just yet but honestly she’d much rather be home snuggled up with her person anyway. After everything she’s been through, Dorothy is just… happy. Happy to be safe. Happy to be loved. Happy to finally have a chance. Now all she needs is a family to give her the soft, cozy, love filled retirement she deserves 💛 We are so grateful to the foster who said YES and saved her life now let’s find the person who says YES to forever. 📍 Fostered in Sacramento, California 📩 Apply to adopt: www.cabullyrescue.org/adopt
