Story
Rudy is a joyful, playful, and deeply affectionate companion who forms strong bonds with his people and loves being close to them. He was adopted as a puppy from ARF in Walnut Creek and is now 5 years old. Rudy truly shines when he’s out on walks, exploring the world, or joyfully chasing a ball during a game of fetch in wide open fields. After playtime, he’s more than happy to settle in and cuddle up next to his favorite person. Rudy does have some dog reactivity while on leash, but this is manageable with consistent training, structure, and positive reinforcement. He would thrive best in a calm, adult-only home where he can receive plenty of attention, patience, and love. In the right environment, Rudy will be a loyal, loving, and devoted companion who brings warmth and happiness to everyday life

Boca is our senior gentleman who despite his mature age still has some pep! He likes to go for a walk or have some playtime in a yard, but is mellow and quiet and happy to just hang out with you the rest of the time! He is a male German Shepherd mix, who is approximately nine years old, and currently weighs about 80 pounds. He was brought to our shelter on 1/6/26 after being found in unincorporated San Leandro, and although he had a micro-chip, he hasn't been reclaimed by his previous person, so he's now looking for a new home! He has been vaccinated, has had recent blood work done, is already neutered, and will be micro-chipped before going to his new home. His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Boca qualifies for Fluffy Dog Friday and Senior Sunday! Adopt him on a Friday or a Sunday and we'll waive his adoption fee!

Hera is a sweet girl who is medium energy. She enjoys going for walks or a romp in the play yards, but in her kennel, she is quiet and usually curled up in her soft, cozy bed. She is a female Pit Bull type mix, who is approximately two years old, and currently weighs 46 pounds. She was brought to our shelter on 11/9/25 after being rescued from a neglectful situation where she was not being regularly fed. Under our care she has gained weight and her shiny coat is growing back, and now it's time for her to find the kind of loving home that she has probably never had. She has been vaccinated, and will be spayed and micro-chipped before going to her new home. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Her spay surgery will be sponsored!

Agatha is adored by everyone who meets her! This sweet senior girl is easy-going and doesn't need a yard or much exercise. She is quiet and mellow and just wants a soft bed to cuddle up in and be by your side! She is a female Pit Bull type mix, is approximately nine years old, and currently weighs 58 lbs. She was brought to our shelter on 10/27/25 after being found in unincorporated Livermore. She hasn't been reclaimed by her previous person, so she's now looking for a new home! She has been vaccinated, has had recent blood work done, and will be spayed and micro-chipped before going to her new home. Agatha is dog selective, which is common amongst adult dogs, and means that she may appreciate some dogs more than others. Her preference seems to be mellow male dogs, but she would also be fine being your one and only! Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Her spay surgery will be sponsored! Agatha qualifies for Senior Sunday! Adopt her on a Sunday and we'll waive her adoption fee!
