Story
Megasaurus is an AKC-certified, neutered, purebred male German Shepherd. He is currently 1 year and 9 months old. We got him after our previous male German Shepherd passed away about two years ago. When he was 6 months old, he completed a 6-week board-and-train program. He is well-trained, disciplined, healthy, and very energetic. He loves playing fetch and is friendly with people--he does not show aggression toward strangers. The only behavioral issue is that he is not friendly with unfamiliar dogs. He gets reactive and barks at dogs passing by our house, and recently he ran out of the front gate and bit another dog. Due to our busy schedules, we do not have the time or energy to properly address and work through this behavior. We have made the difficult decision to rehome him. We are looking for a responsible and caring family--preferably with experience handling large breeds like German Shepherds--who can provide him with the attention, structure, and care he deserves.
