Story
Meet Zara: A Sweet Girl Looking for Her Forever Home Zara is a 3-year-old pit mix who has had a rough start, but she's ready to find the loving forever home she deserves. After being relinquished due to unforeseen circumstances, this lovely girl landed with an amazing foster family—and she's thriving! Zara is sweet-natured and does wonderfully with her foster family's small children. She's found a best friend in Gallop, her 7-month-old Great Pyrenees foster brother who thinks she's the best Christmas gift ever! She also coexists peacefully with her older Border Collie foster sibling. What You Should Know: Zara can be treat/resource protective at times, so she'll need an adopter who understands how to manage this with positive training She's a cuddle bug who loves snuggling in bed Potty trained and crate trained (though she may fuss if bored and needs enrichment) Walks beautifully on leash No cat experience yet, but her foster believes she'd do fine with proper introductions This resilient girl has so much love to give and is ready for a home where she'll never have to worry about being uprooted again. Could that be with you? Fill out an application at EAPL.com. Her adoption fee is $375.  February 9, 2026, 7:48 am
