Story
Do you lean more toward snuggly nights in rather than hiking a 14’er? So does Bubba!  Meet Bubba, a ridiculously adorable ~6-month-old American Pit Bull mix with a heart-melting face and striking black-and-white markings that turn heads everywhere he goes. Bubba’s foster mom can’t say enough good things about him: “Bubba is the most laid-back puppy I have ever worked with! He gets playful with the other dogs—especially in the evenings—but most of the time he’s just lounging around. He LOVES the couch! He’s learning his name, responds to ‘no’ very quickly, is house trained, uses the doggy door on his own, and keeps his kennel clean. He is not a high-energy dog AT ALL. I’ll try to get some pics of him standing upright, lol!” This sweet boy is the definition of easygoing. He’s gentle, affectionate, and loves kids. He happily romps with dogs big and small, brings joy wherever he trots, and has even met cats (though he hasn’t lived with them indoors).  If you’re searching for a loyal, mellow, joy-filled best friend whose smile can brighten even the cloudiest day, Bubba is your guy.  Estimated DOB: May 19, 2025 so he is around 6.5 months old and weighs about 35 pounds.  If you would like to adopt or foster, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2560278##

I rescued Jersey when he was 4 months old. He is a very sweet dog and it is really important for me to find him a good, loving home with a fenced in yard. I am moving an unfortunately unable to bring him.

Story
Puppies are a lot of fun, but also a lot of responsibility! Things you should be aware of before adopting a puppy from the Denver Animal Shelter:* Puppies will need regular socialization. The critical time period for socialization is between 8 and 16 weeks, but it is important to continue to socialize your new pup throughout their young life. This means having positive and enjoyable interactions with as many new people, new dogs, and new environments as possible. Appropriate socialization will help puppies grow into healthier and more social adults.* They will not know what is appropriate to chew on, where they should go to the bathroom, and how to behave in all situations. Puppies require a lot of time spent on training, management, and supervision. It is recommended that puppies be crate trained or kept in a puppy-proofed room of the house with appropriate chew toys and enrichment when not actively supervised. The Denver Animal Shelter always recommends positive reinforcement-based training methods. * Puppies in a shelter environment often have unknown parentage. While we make our best guesses on size and breed, we cannot guarantee their adult temperament, behavior, size, or characteristics.More about this puppy:
