Story
Meet Spud At just 10–12 months old and around 50 pounds, Spud is basically still a puppy in a ridiculously handsome brindle-and-white coat. But while he’s stunning on the outside, it’s his joyful, goofy personality that really steals the show. Spud loves EVERYONE — people, dogs, belly rubs, ear scratches, compliments… all of it. His tail only has two settings: wagging and turbo wagging. He’s done great with the dogs he’s met and has that classic playful pittie style — wrestling, tumbling, zooming, and generally acting like a happy goofball. Even at adoption events, he’s been social and sweet, just a little exuberant. Once playtime is over, Spud is a pretty chill guy with wonderful house manners. He is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and settles in beautifully at home. The perfect combo of playful and easygoing. One of the best things about Spud is how gentle and trusting he is. You can handle him all over, check his teeth, touch his food — he responds with patience and easygoing sweetness every time. Spud was found wandering down the middle of a rural highway with his friend Foxy, somehow avoiding tragedy. But the second rescuers stopped, he trotted right up with his tail wagging like, “Hi! I know we just met but I trust you!”  You can see the rescue video here:  https://youtube.com/shorts/c4NA8K1_ny4?si=KbkK-vm5VBn3ZMJi   We are certain that Spud was once someone's beloved companion. He is just too happy and balanced to have been mistreated or a stray all his life. Now all Spud needs is a family to give him the love, structure, adventures, and playtime he’s always deserved. If you would like to adopt Spud, please apply at: https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes neuter, vaccinations, deworming, and microchip. ##2730297##
