Story
Say hello to Sage!!  If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts beauty, brains, and a fresh start story you’ll want to be part of… Sage might just be your girl. This stunning 2-year-old tawny pit bull mix found herself wandering the streets of a small town before being brought into a local vet clinic. When they tracked down her owner, he was in was in the clink and unable to care for her — but thankfully, he made the right call and surrendered her so she could get the second chance she deserves. We’ve partnered with this amazing vet clinic many times because they never turn away an animal in need. They stepped up without hesitation when Sage needed someone. Right now, Sage is safe and being cared for there while she waits for a foster or forever home. And here’s what we’re learning about her… Sage LOVES people. All people. Big, small, tiny humans included. She’s affectionate, social, and genuinely enjoys being around her humans. Sage has also been friendly and playful with dogs at the clinic too! We will have some videos soon! She keeps her kennel perfectly clean, which tells us she likely has some house manners already. Now let’s talk personality — because Sage is a smart cookie. She came to us with basically zero training, but she’s already picking things up quickly. She’s learning leash manners, working on “sit,” and making progress every day. She’s eager… sometimes a little too eager… especially when treats are involved (we’re working on taking them gently instead of gobling them down. She has shown zero human aggression. We can handle her food, take toys or Kongs away, and she remains relaxed and trusting. That says a lot about her heart. Sage is going to thrive with someone who will continue her training, give her structure, and help her channel all that brainpower and enthusiasm into being the amazing dog we know she can be. Right now, what she needs most is a chance — a foster, or better yet, a forever home where she can finally exhale. If you’ve got a soft spot for underdogs (literally and figuratively), Sage is waiting for you. Sage weighs around 50 pounds. If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2715776##

Story
Meet Spud At just 10–12 months old and around 50 pounds, Spud is basically still a puppy wrapped in a ridiculously handsome brindle-and-white coat. Seriously… this boy is STUNNING. But as good-looking as he is, it’s his joyful personality that completely steals the show. If there is a happier dog out there, we honestly can’t imagine it. Spud loves people, loves dogs, and loves every form of affection and attention available. Belly rubs? Yes please. Ear scratches? Absolutely. Being told he’s handsome? Essential daily business. He is affectionate, social, trusting, and so eager to connect with the world around him. His tail seems to have only two settings: wagging and turbo wagging. One of the most remarkable things about Spud is how gentle and tolerant he is. He calmly allowed ticks to be removed from his body without complaint. You can handle every inch of him, check his teeth, touch his food — he responds with nothing but easygoing trust and sweet natured patience. Spud does have an energetic play style We suspect he may never have really had the chance to simply be a carefree puppy and PLAY before now. He’s making up for lost time with enthusiasm, joy, and some delightfully goofy energy. What Spud needs now is a family who will continue showing him the good life — love , guidance , adventure , structure , and plenty of playtime . In return, he’ll give you nonstop smiles, loyal companionship, endless pittie wiggles, and enough happy energy to brighten even the hardest days. Spud’s story could have ended very differently. He was found wandering down the middle of a rural two-lane highway alongside his friend Foxy , somehow avoiding speeding cars and tragedy. But the moment his rescuers stopped, Spud made it clear exactly who he is — a happy, loving, people-adoring goofball. He trotted right up to them with his tail wagging and that classic pittie wiggle that says, “Hi! I already love you.” If you would like to adopt Spud, please apply at: https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $300 includes neuter, vaccinations, deworming, and microchip. ##2730297##

Story
Say Hello to Maple! She recently celebrated her very first birthday… and she’s already raised **nine puppies**. She was found in a rural area, abandoned with her babies, doing everything she could to keep them safe and warm in an old dog house. And she did it—every single one of her puppies has now been adopted. Now it’s finally Maple’s turn. **About Maple:**Likely a German Shepherd mix (with a little mystery sprinkled in, as many rez dogs are), Maple brings all the traits people love about working breeds—with a soft, soulful twist. • **Highly intelligent** – She’s observant, thoughtful, and always taking it all in• **Deeply devoted** – Once she chooses you, you are *her person*• **Dog-friendly** – Currently lives with three female dogs and loves to play and nap in the sun with them• **A little silly** – Beneath her composed exterior is a playful, goofy girl who loves to let loose• **Loyal & intuitive** – She bonds deeply and thrives on connection **Her personality:**Maple can be a bit selective and slow to warm up with new people, but once you’re in… you’re everything to her. The kind of loyalty she offers is the real deal—the earned, unshakeable kind. **Ideal home:**• A home without a lot of chaos or constant commotion that can often accompany kids and teens who are playing and having fun!• Someone who understands working breeds and appreciates their need for both mental and emotional connection• A patient, experienced owner who will let her settle in at her own pace **The details:**• About 1–1.5 years old• 57 pounds of beauty, brains, and heart Maple has already proven how strong, loving, and devoted she is. Now she’s ready to be the center of someone's world instead of everyone else’s caretaker. If you’re looking for a deeply loyal companion—the kind who will quietly choose you and never look back—Maple might just be your girl.
