Story
Axel is a good boy, who just needs a home with someone who can give him more time and training. We have a beagle and axel has been overwhelming to him. No fighting, Axel is just too big for our beagle and they are not on the same page. He is also having trouble with potty training, mostly because we dont have enough time for him and we live in an apartment. He has been better with peeing but still makes some messes. Loves to cuddle and play with his ball. Very good with our 10 year old son. Has never hurt any dogs, but he does tend to try and playfully dominate smaller dogs. We know he will make someone very happy and can be a very good dog, he just wasn't a fit for our family. We want nothing more than him to find a good home and we also have a harness, dog bowl and can give you some food. He does have a sensitive stomach so he is on a sensitive stomach food. FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED for Sweet Sheeba!   Meet Sheeba — a small (ONLY 30 LBS), loving, loyal, and incredibly smart girl who’s ready for her next chapter.   Sheeba is an absolute sweetheart in the home — calm, affectionate, and always happy to greet guests with tail wags and love. She’s house-trained, eager to please, and thrives when she’s close to her people.   Her challenge? Walks can be tough. She gets overexcited when she sees other dogs or small animals, and while her foster family has worked hard with her, she still needs a patient, confident person to help her keep learning. With structure, consistency, and the right energy, Sheeba has so much potential to shine. Her current foster family adores her but is no longer able to provide the consistency she needs — so we’re looking for a new foster (or even better, a forever home!) to help Sheeba continue to grow and thrive.   Fully vetted Sweet, smart, and affectionate in the home Needs an experienced or patient home willing to keep working on leash reactivity Best as the only pet (for now)   If you can open your heart and home to this special girl — even temporarily — please reach out to Demi’s Animal Rescue.
