Poppy is a pittie and not allowed to be imported in Europe where we are moving. We are very sad to leave her behind. She likes to play and roughhouse, she loves long walks and would benefit from a family with a yard. She sometimes gets too excited when she sees you and might jump for a kiss but can be redirected. She is a people person and likes most other dogs. She loves going to doggy daycare and is the darling of humans and canines there. She does not guard food with humans but can display some guarding behaviors with other animals. She is patient and tender with kids and loves them so much you will have to have a strategy to keep the youngest ones out of her tongue’s reach. While she is energetic, she is also very very cuddly! She loves building her own nests with blankets and pillows, and loves snuggling up to you even more. She currently lives with cats and loves them but we’re not sure that the cats love her back; a home without cats might be better than one with.

Maven is an energetic, loving, 15 month old terrier/lab mix. We have had her since she was 9 weeks. She can get anxious with cars, loud noises, and new things. She needs an experienced dog person and would ideally go to a home with another large dog to improve her self-confidence and leash skills. She is very lovey and loves to lick and snuggle. She is also a nap monster!If not for medical issues, we would never surrender our precious girl. She needs more time and training than we can provide. We are hoping to give her adopters all her things, including treats and toys. She will be a wonderful addition to any home. We will keep her indefinitely until the right family can be found for her.

Little is known about his previous life, but we can assume two things -- 1) he is a stray because he likes going on adventures, to include scaling a chain link fence like the teenage boy that he is and 2) he was somebody's snuggle bug because he needs love ALL.THE.TIME! When I say that this guy is a master snuggler, I mean SNUGGLE ME NOW kinda lovins are necessary or he will make dinosaur noises about it. Oh, that's how he talks... he also makes dino noises when he needs to go outside for a potty break. Axl was aptly named because of his beautiful mascara and eyeliner. He had to be part of a band in the 80s, right?! Axl would love starting his day with morning snuggles before going out to potty. He's a quick eater so takes his meals in an enrichment puzzle. He's nosey and loves to look out the window and sniff around like a detective. He asks for belly rubs by getting in position -- he even asks the couch to rub his belly! Yup, you heard that right, the couch! Axl has a very waggy tail and is working on his manners with not jumping or trying to smell things on the counter -- it's just so exciting! He will make you stay by sitting on your feet and he will let you know if you're petting him wrong. When it's too cold for walks, he needs some enrichment to keep him occupied, but who doesn't get bored on cold days? Jax to his core is a real sweetheart! However, he’s really been through the wringer. My mom rescued him from a hurricane when I was in 6th grade(I am a senior now). He came to us with a lot of anxiety and fear, but grew to be friendlier around people and dogs. Unfortunately my mother passed away, Jax and I moved in with my father, step-mom, and her two kids. Her children suffer from mental problems and one of the boys beat Jax pretty badly in the head, despite all of my attempts to stop him. Jax had naturally become more aggressive towards males and other dogs. I had been doing my best to give him structure and support, I had him scheduled for training in hopes to bring with me to college. But with our luck, we were on a walk and a dog was off leash and attacked Jax pretty badly. I am looking for very experienced owners who can really put in the work with him and help him get better, which is why he is free of charge. He deserves a much better life than I can provide for him right now.
