Story
Location: Champlin, MN Hi there! Thank so much for stopping by! While I am known at Rescue Network as Snowflake, I actually answer to Astrid! I am a very sweet, 2-year old lady looking for a family to call my own. My foster mom says I am a very loyal sidekick who believes in stranger danger but endless snuggles once you’re approved! Sometimes I take a moment to size you up, but once I decide you’re cool, you’ve officially been promoted to “favorite human.” I am fully potty trained (let’s be honest, a lady has standards), love to give gentle kisses, and am happiest just being near my people. New faces make me cautious at first, but with a little patience (and maybe a treat or two), I’ll melt into your lap like warm butter. Here’s a few additional fun facts about me: · Dog friendly · People friendly – I might use my voice to greet at first · I love treats and am learning some skills (sit, down, stay) · Mom says I do “ok” on a leash. I don’t pull too much, but when I don’t want to go a certain direction, I make it known that we should go a different way. I currently live with my foster family, which includes 2 active boys (10 & 13) and my fur-sister, Winnie. Winnie and I like to chase and play together. The perfect home for me will have: · Humans who will be patient with me as I can be nervous around new people. · A family who is willing to continue teaching me new skills. If you want a loyal best friend who’s as sweet as she is snuggly — and won’t judge you for binge-watching another season on the couch — Astrid can’t wait to meet you! ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess.

Story
Location: Rosemount, MN I’m Cairon! The coolest, most "go with the flow" guy you’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing! If you’re looking for a partner who is equal parts fun and chill, I’m your man. I’ve been told I’m a total head-turner. I have a one-of-a-kind brindle coat with a stunning mix of dark and light brown stripes. No two brindle patterns are exactly alike, which means I’m truly a limited edition! I’m known as the "Yes" Man!… My foster family calls me a super chill dude because I’m down for whatever the day brings. My personality is the perfect balance: - Ready to Play? Say the word and I’m in! I love a good romp and will keep you smiling with my puppy energy and silly boy zoomies. - Ready to Rest? I’m a professional cuddler. If you’re having a low-key afternoon, I’ll happily park myself right next to you for some quality snuggle time. - While I’m very affectionate, I’m also a big boy who can entertain himself. I love playing with my toys on my own—you can just sit back and chuckle at my goofy antics from the sidelines! My Perfect Match… I’m looking for a forever family who wants a pup that is easygoing and adaptable. Whether you’re an active adventurer or a homebody, I’ll fit right into your rhythm. I’m the perfect companion for someone who wants a dog that loves deeply but also knows how to do his own thing. Looking for a "go with the flow" best friend? I’m ready to bring my chill vibes and beautiful coat to a home of my very own. Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN If you are looking for a pup with a lot of love and a lot of wiggles, Jillian is your girl. With big, beautiful amber eyes, Jillian’s personality easily shines through. While she is a huge sweetheart, she does need continued boundary work as she thinks the best way to let others know she loves them and wants to play is to get right up into their personal space! Fortunately, she is a little smarty pants and is picking up on cues and commands very quickly. Jillian is also continuing to improve with crate training even if she will default to a dramatic puppy flop before walking into the crate willingly. Her progress is best with the help of treats as bribes! We have learned that when crated, she does a lot better in a high-traffic area as she seems to relax when she is able to see what is going on around her. She does cry a bit when crated, but only because she has a serious case of FOMO, but appears to be calming more quickly as time goes on. While Jillian has not been left alone for long periods of time in the house, during the short bouts, she has done really well and usually is just lounging on the sofa. Jillian is primarily potty-trained but sometimes seems to “forget” she can’t just pee wherever is most convenient; with that being said, accidents are becoming more and more uncommon. She does very well with potty prompts and will wait for someone to accompany her when she needs to pee outside but doesn’t hesitate to explore once she is there. Since we are still gauging her overall reactiveness and recall, we always keep an eye on her in the backyard even though it is fenced in. Jillian has a lot of energy, is outgoing, and loves to play with both four-legged friends and humans. She does have a high prey-drive and would do best in a house that does not have any other pets aside from dogs. Jillian is also taking several walks a day to work on her leash skills and catching on really quickly - we are learning to “leave it”, “wait”, and “eyes” (when needing her attention); she tends to crowd and pull on the leash so we are also working on side by side walking and pressure commands with the leash. With patience and consistency, she will no doubt continue to improve. Most days, Jillian will be out playing in the backyard with her foster brother Meeka, a husky, taking walks through the neighborhood, playing with her squeak toys, getting all the pets, and curled up on the couch or dog bed taking a nap. In just a short amount of time, Jillian has learned both the verbal and nonverbal signals for “sit”, “wait”, “hands in”, and “lie down”. While we haven’t done tons of car rides, she seems very interested in hopping in whenever the car door is open. She is eager to learn and very treat-motivated! Jillian is a sweet, playful, and loyal pup who is looking for a loving, active family to grow with. If you are ready for a lively spirit, funny personality, and unconditional companionship - Jilly Bean will be a great fit! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
