Story
Meet Nala! Nala is a 6 year old GSD mix who came to us in rough shape. At her former home she was tied to a pole by a leash and left outside during the day and crated at night, which for an active breed is a nightmare. She was underweight, had raw spots everywhere, hadn't been to the vet in over 3 years, and was scared. We also discovered a lump under her left ear, which had turned out to be a Mast Cell Tumor. Thankfully it was low-grade and we were able to have it removed, so she is cancer free! We have helped Nala come out of her shell, got her fully vaccinated and microchipped, and up to a healthy weight. Now that we've got her thriving, she is ready to go on to her forever home! Nala is a big sweetheart who just wants to be near her people. She has a bit of separation anxiety, and doesn't do well with other dogs, so she would need to be an only dog or go to someone with experience in socializing/proper introductions. A fenced yard would be ideal for Nala. Message for more info!

Snohomish, WA
Size

Story
Willow is a loving, very snuggly dog who wants to be close to her humans. She loves sleeping under the covers, cuddling, playing with chew toys. She has lived successfully with an older dog and they occasionally play together. She currently also lives with a cat, but we do not recommend a home with cats. Willow is mostly potty trained and crate trained. She would thrive in a home with a good-sized, securely fenced yard where she can run, play, and burn off energy. We want to be completely honest about her needs. Willow reacts negatively to unfamiliar dogs on walks and has bitten her owner when the owner was physically between her and an unfamiliar dog. She therefore needs an experienced, responsible owner who understands dog reactivity, will safely manage her around unfamiliar dogs, and is willing to continue training. Willow has a huge capacity for affection. We are looking for a patient home that understands and her challenges and can give her the structure and love she needs.
