Meet Sophie!
Sophie is a wonderful, well-rounded girl with so much love to give. She’s sweet, affectionate, and has a loving presence that makes everyone around her feel at ease. Whether she’s joining you for a walk, hopping in the car for an adventure, or relaxing at home, Sophie is just happy to be by your side.
She’s crate trained, house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and rides great in the car — making her an easy addition to just about any home. Sophie is fantastic with kids and does well with other dogs, and she truly enjoys getting out and exploring the world with her people.
Sophie came to our rescue after being found starving on a rural property with her puppies after her owner went to jail. Despite everything she’s been through, she has remained incredibly loving, trusting, and resilient. She raised her babies with so much care, and all of her puppies have been adopted — it’s Sophie’s turn. She’s thriving and ready for the life she’s always deserved.
Sophie will continue to flourish in a home that offers love, consistency, and companionship. She’s the kind of dog who will be your loyal sidekick through it all — from everyday moments to big adventures. She was born in December 2022 and is fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.
OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.
All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).
Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
