Story
Ghost is a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix (turning 7 on March 26th), about 80 lbs. We’ve had him since he was 3 months old and are heartbreakingly rehoming him due to changes in our living and financial situation. He was the runt of the litter and has grown into a loyal, protective, and loving companion. Ghost thrives with a large yard and cooler weather but is also a spoiled indoor dog. He is loyal and protective, only barking when someone is near the home. He’s been around children his whole life and has never bitten anyone, but does best when new people let him approach at his own pace. He is not dog-friendly and should be the only dog in the home. He has lived with a house cat but has not accepted new cats. Ghost knows basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, shake both paws) sheds a lot, and is a picky eater but eats dry food well. He needs a patient, loving home where he can be someone’s devoted companion.

Story
Cookie is a sweet 1-year-old German Shepard. She has a good amount of energy but also enjoys cuddling. The only reason I am looking to rehome her is that she and her mom do not get along anymore. They have gotten into two big fights that make me nervous about them both staying safe. I was told it was a fight for dominance. I am not sure, I just don't want my pups to fight or get hurt. Cookie gets along with our other male german shepard just fine, no issues, they play, they lie together, it is just her and her mom all of a sudden. She has been excellent with my kids and elderly father. She is accustomed to a crate during the work day and being out and free in the evenings. She is house-trained and knows very basic commands like sit and lay. She will wait in front of her dog bowl until you snap over it to let her know it is time to eat. I always pet her and fidget with her mouth while eating to ensure she doesn't snap. I have had her since she was born.
