Story
The right home for Katsu should be experienced with Shiba Inus, and free of other animals or children. Katsu is completely house-trained and thrives in an environment where she has access to the outside (she will let you know when she needs to go out, but will also often sleep in as long as you will because she enjoys being close). She’s a very affectionate dog and likes to be very close to her family (she will follow you around the house, and prefers to sleep in the same bed). She’s very athletic and enjoys training or following commands (she’s got a really strong will and is incredibly intelligent). She enjoys chill walks in quiet parks, and simply lounging around the house. While she’s very tolerant of our toddler, she would do best in a child-free home and should be closely monitored around children. She loves meeting new people but takes a few minutes to warm up to guests. She does not do well around other dogs and has a strong prey drive to hunt small animals.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEATTLE💟 Meet Dorang❤️ 💙 Update Account: @adogs 1️⃣ Health Status * Spayed:: Completed. * Others: Microchipped, heartworm treatment completed, and scaling (Dental cleaning) completed. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Dorang was rescued from a dog meat farm in Gunsan along with her friends Dodam and Dodo. After witnessing the cruel deaths of her companions every day, Dorang shed continuous tears of relief the moment she was finally rescued. 3️⃣ Characteristics * With People: Is still wary of strangers and tends to bark, but is gradually opening her heart. While she shows curiosity and allows some touch from new people, caution is required as she may nip. With familiar people, she enjoys physical affection. Once she trusts you, she allows you to touch her anywhere.Wags her tail when making eye contact and shows her belly for rubs! * With Dogs: Gets along very well with other dogs and especially loves puppies. * With Cats: Doesn't pay much attention to cats. * Separation Anxiety: Difficult to determine accurately due to the center environment, but she has shown no signs of anxiety so far. * Potty Training: Uses pads well indoors and also enjoys outdoor potty breaks. * Grooming: Stays calm during brushing. Needs to wear a recovery collar (cone) when having her nails clipped. * Walking: Walks excellently without pulling on the leash. * Car Sickness: None. She rests comfortably during car rides. * Nipping/Biting: May nip if a stranger turns their back to her due to fear. Might accept pets from strangers but suddenly nip during the interaction. If her tail is fully up, she is generally receptive to touch; if her tail is even slightly lowered, she may nip. Even while showing affection (like licking/kisses), she may nip without warning. With familiar people, she may give a "warning nip" (feels like a pinch) if they do something she dislikes. * Barking: Barks at strangers out of fear and defensiveness. * Likes: Absolutely loves going for walks! * Dislikes: Is frightened by loud noises or sudden, large movements.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Buddle🌿 (It means willow in Korean) 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1.) Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. * Both hind legs have progressed luxating patella. Surgery on the right leg has been successfully completed, and the left leg is scheduled for surgery in February. The patella is staying in place perfectly, and the recovery speed is excellent. Strict activity restriction is required for the next 4 weeks, though very light, short walks are permitted. 2.) Rescue Story * Buddle was sitting idly in a wire cage with holes underneath, lifted off the ground, at a rural house in Damyang, Jeollanam-do. Noticing that dogs in that house disappeared and were replaced frequently, an Adogs volunteer could no longer turn away and rushed to rescue him. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Likes people and actively shows interest in them but avoids your hands if you actively try to pet him. Quite likes being petted once you actually get ahold of him, but doesn’t completely let his guard down. Although he’s curious about people, he growls or barks out of fear if he seems someone making large movements or holding and shaking something in their hand. Due to a bit of shyness, he sometimes waits over food until people are gone. With familiar people, he’s an affectionate cutie that chases them around, lies down near them, and asks to be petted by licking them. * With Dogs: Tends to get overexcited when seeing other dogs, which can lead to barking or "mouth punching" (poking with the snout). Is affectionate and gets along well with close friends, caution is needed as there is sensitivity around food. * With Cats: Gets overexcited and tries to chase cats when encountering them. * Separation Anxiety: Unclear, since he’s living in a communal environment at our center. Training will be necessary from the start once placed in a home. * Potty Training: Only potties outdoors since he’s currently living at our center. Marks various spots during walks. * Hygiene: Accepts any grooming nicely when caught! * Walks: Is receiving training, but pulls on the leash. Wants to chase after animals he encounters on walks. When seeing other dogs barking or being hostile, he copies that behavior and tries to charge at them. So he’s getting trained to sit and wait while other dogs pass by until they’re out of sight. * Car Sickness: Is scared of getting in a car. Trembles and drools a little at first, but becomes fine after a while. * Nip: When another dog tries to take his treat, barks, or growls at him, he shows aggression. Has never shown any nipping or biting toward people. * Barking: Whines if he wants to be taken out of his kennel, as if telling you to open the door faster! If he encounters a dog barking or being on guard while on a walk, he also barks. Has shown behavior such as continuous barking, baring teeth, and growling at certain dogs only. * Like: Really likes dolls and toys so much that he always has one in his mouth and begs to play tug! Enjoys rolling around on the grass. * Dislike: Is scared of getting in a car, and tries to run away by taking off his leash or harness. Double leashes are a must and extra care is needed. Is scared of large movements, and people who are holding things such as canes. Gets scared and wary if someone waves an object in his/her hand. * Tricks: Can ‘sit’ when he wants something. Previously, he could only sit, but now he sits and has also learned to make eye contact. Generally responds well to being called, but will ignore commands if his excitement level is high, especially when he sees another dog.1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped. 2.) Rescue Story * Taeyeon was brought to the Gimje City Shelter with her sibling when she was a puppy. Unfortunately, her sibling passed away due to parvovirus, leaving Taeyeon alone at the shelter. Adogs stepped in and rescued her. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is still not fully comfortable with human touch. Tends to bark at unfamiliar people and avoid being petted. It would be better to give her time to adjust at her own pace. * With Dogs: Gets along very well with other dogs at our center without any issues. * Separation Anxiety: Since she has never been alone, her reaction to being alone is unknown. * Potty Training: Does only pottying outdoors at our center. Would need to be trained from the start if adopted. * Walks: Is still wary, so she tends to be on guard during walks. * Grooming: Accepted grooming well at a dog training school. However, her reaction is not exactly confirmed as she hasn't experienced grooming at our center. * Car Sickness: Rides very well without motion sickness. * Biting: Tends to bite defensively when people try to touch her. * Barking: Is still awkward and scared of people, so she barks when seeing them.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEATTLE💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Gowoon🧡 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. 2⃣ Rescue Story * At the end of 2021, Gowoon gave birth to seven puppies at the Gimje City Shelter. She and her puppies were rescued together. All of her puppies have since gone to foster or adoptive homes, but Gowoon has remained at our center, waiting for a family of her own. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Tends to be very shy because she wasn't used to human touch, but gets much better now. Her expression is brighter and she even follows people for treats. Accepts being touched little by little woth constant training, but sudden movements may scare her and lead to defensive nipping. It is necessary to take time to touch her, so she can become accustomed to it. * With Dogs: Approaches and sniffs new dogs. Gets along well with calm dogs with similar temperaments. Likes friends who approach her quietly and gently. Recently mingles well with canine friends. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Currently only does outdoor potty at our center. * Hygiene: Is not yet comfortable with human handling, so baths and brushing are still on hold. * Walks: Has no walking experience yet. Gets scared when someone approaches with a leash, so she refuses it for now. * Car Sickness: Is calm in the car, and sits quietly without motion sickness. * Barking: Barks when hearing loud noises outside. Also barks if she is outside alone while people are out of her sight and hears them moving around inside the kennels. * Nip: Very occasionally shows defensive nipping due to fear, but this has been decreasing over time. * Dislike: Is afraid of loud noises and people who move too quickly. It’s best to move slowly and calmly around her so she can feel safe.

Meet Yunjeong😊 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and fully recovered from heartworm. 2⃣ Rescue Story * In the freezing cold of January 2021, Yunjeong was living in the Gimje City Shelter with her young puppies. Sadly, she lost all her puppies due to parvo and was rescued alone. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is quite timid and doesn’t usually approach first. However, if you take her slow, she accepts touch without big issue. * With Dogs: Tends to prefer staying alone to getting together with doggy friends. As long as other dogs don’t bother her, she’s generally okay. However, if she has to share her space where she sleeps and rests, she can show significant aggression toward other dogs. So, she must be kept separated. * With Cats: Didn't respond to cats during walks. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. Needs training in a home environment. * Potty Training: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. * Hygiene: Although she’s timid and tends to lie down, she stays calm during baths, drying, and brushing. Resists a bit when her paws are touched before nail trimming. However, she handles it well once it starts. * Walks: Tends to pull on the leash in the beginning. In frightening situations, she either lies down or circles around the person. * While she shows no biting behavior toward people, she may become aggressive toward other dogs when unsupervised in a shared space. Therefore, it’s important to keep her separated from other dogs.
