Meet Ozzy, an 18-pound shihtzu/poodle mix. Our vet estimates his age as three to four years old. Ozzy is the ultimate cuddle bug — his favorite place in the world is right on your lap, showering you with endless love and kisses. He walks wonderfully on a leash and even lifts his legs up to help you put his harness on (how adorable is that?). He loves following his foster mom anywhere she goes around the house and is always looking up at her with those gorgeous puppy dog eyes. He is very affectionate and just wants to find his forever home that will treat him like the little prince he is! Ozzy is an absolute sweetheart who adores people, he is amazing with cats, and gets along well with dogs. He prefers to have a little personal space from other dogs so he would do best in a home with calm dogs who respect his space. He will do a little mini growl if a dog is getting too rambunctious and in his personal space, but he has never shown any aggression towards another dog. He’s crate-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and is doing great with his potty training. With a little positive reinforcement (and plenty of treats), he’s eager to please and quick to learn. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who just wants to be by your side, Ozzy is your guy!
