Derby is a doll! He is very outgoing, friendly, comfortable with all people, great with all dogs, and sweet. He was a child actor on a children' TV show where he wore clothes and did a lot of cute tricks. With the film industry changing and work leaving Los Angeles, I am trying to find homes for a few of my wonderful dogs. Derby is always happy. The only time he can get stressed is by loud fireworks during the Fourth of July. I keep Derby indoors, playing music during that holiday. Derby has hundreds of hours of training and has been extensively socialized. He is neutered, UTD with vaccines, sleeps in a crate (which he loves), and he knows tricks like sit, down, speak, spin, foot, and paw. Some things to consider are, that he is NOT good with cats, birds, or other little fuzzy critters. He has a prey drive so will only be placed in a home with or without dogs. Derby is a Bichon and Shih Tzu mix. To adopt, you must have a fenced yard, and a home check is required.

this is an amazing pet friend, had him for about 5 years , super friendly dog great with everyone , i hate to give him away but i have no choice due to busy schedule i no longer am able to give him the attention he deserves, this is why i dont want any fee, i just want a caring person to give him the love he deserves. He is totally independent , outside trained , you can leave him home alone while you are at work and he will patiently wait .

I met all his needs to date. I shall miss him. We have busy schedules and I try be there for the dog but there are times I can’t due to work. He loves the attention. Well he is still a puppy.
