Vance is a super sweet, wonderful, loving little boy. He has never bitten or shown aggression. He approached me on a golf course in Palm Springs in the summer of 2020, and I have taken care of him ever since, as the owner was never found (I contacted local animal shelters, vets, etc and posted online ads in several places such as CraigsList, but no one ever claimed him). I am having health issues and cannot keep him any longer, which breaks my heart, because he is a very good dog. He is housebroken, good with other dogs, good with children, but shy with adult strangers. He is never aggressive, just shy around strangers. His only behavioral issue is that if he hears a loud noise outside when walking on a leash, he will pull. I have tried to train him but he still pulls. For someone stronger than me (I am a 110 pound female), and who does not have back problems, this should not be an issue. The pulling is his only challenge.

Rescued from two drug dealers that tragically didn’t get her the care she needed after being hit by a car, Savannah suffered a broken pelvis and tail.Despite all fires and evacuations, thanks to Two Hands Four Paws and our amazing team, we were able to get her into emergency surgery, she’s on the road to recovery. Though she’s now a tripod (she has all four legs but hasn't been able to put weight on one leg yet), Savannah’s strength and spirit are undeniable.Savannah is in need of a foster home where someone can offer her the time and care she deserves. She does great with other dogs and hasn’t had any issues there. However, she does experience some separation anxiety, so she would thrive in a home where someone is around often to comfort her, hold her, and keep her close. They were then rescued but shortly thereafter the group who pulled them from the shelter closed their doors so they were abandoned once more. Ricky and Lucy have had a very rough life so far and just want to be in a forever home together. Ricky is spunky, sweet and has a sense of adventure. Lucy is blind and a bit fearful but once she knows she’s safe, she’ll be grateful with kisses. They have been waiting for their happily ever together. BANDIT, recently groomed and clipped, is a long legged Lhasa Apso/Maltipoo, who is 7 years old, 17 pounds, and has been an only dog with the same family (who could not keep him), since puppyhood. Bandit does bite people. His main flaw is that he is overly loyal and protective, and will take a bite out of a stranger's foot or ankle if they suddenly come too close. Lhasas are a very ancient breed and were fierce little sentinel and guard dogs for the Dalai Llama and Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. The 14th Dalai Llama sent them as gifts to the West, and they have been a favorite ever since. Bandit is neutered and vaccinated and we are searching for an understanding and patient new home where he can be the dedicated guardian he was meant to be.
