This is Chewy & Bandit. They are brothers from the same litter born on 1/8/24. They must be adopted together, they haven’t left each others side since birth. We got them from a caring family who currently has their parents, and they are purebred Shih Tzus. My grandmother was their main caretaker, but sadly she passed away so now they do not receive the proper care or attention that they need. They are so friendly and love to play. They are also the best guard dogs when it comes to strangers or other animals. They love to go on walks, and love to lounge around the house.

Very recently, I went to a scary shelter, but even more scary is I was in so much pain and I was homeless. My eye was very injured, and it had to be removed. The main thing is, I am doing GREAT now! I am living in a comfortable foster home with a mom and dad that dotes over me. I live with other dogs and cats also. When I first meet you, I might be a tiny shy and sometimes I get a tiny bit nervous. Who wouldn't get nervous when my prior humans treated me badly and they didn't take care of me. Meet Ozzy, an 18-pound shihtzu/poodle mix. Our vet estimates his age as three to four years old. Ozzy is the ultimate cuddle bug — his favorite place in the world is right on your lap, showering you with endless love and kisses. He walks wonderfully on a leash and even lifts his legs up to help you put his harness on (how adorable is that?). He loves following his foster mom anywhere she goes around the house and is always looking up at her with those gorgeous puppy dog eyes. He is very affectionate and just wants to find his forever home that will treat him like the little prince he is! Ozzy is an absolute sweetheart who adores people, he is amazing with cats, and gets along well with dogs. He prefers to have a little personal space from other dogs so he would do best in a home with calm dogs who respect his space. He will do a little mini growl if a dog is getting too rambunctious and in his personal space, but he has never shown any aggression towards another dog. He’s crate-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and is doing great with his potty training. With a little positive reinforcement (and plenty of treats), he’s eager to please and quick to learn.
