Ben and Jerry came into the shelter together. We rescued them together.They are fostered together and doing well. Jerry is.a bit more dependent on Ben. These are fantastic pups. Housebroke, rarely bark, good listeners and great on walks. They are curious and playful and love toys. We would love to try to keep them together if possible. They are such a great team. They are only 1.3 years old and have proven to be pretty bombproof. Life will be amazing with both... All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Derby is a great dog! He is very outgoing, friendly, comfortable with all people, great with all dogs, and sweet. He was a child actor on a children's TV show where he wore clothes and did a lot of cute tricks. With the film industry changing and work leaving Los Angeles, I am trying to find homes for a few of my wonderful dogs. The only time he can get stressed is by loud fireworks, he's not fond of the Fourth of July. I keep Derby indoors with music playing during that holiday. Derby has hundreds of hours of training and has been extensively socialized. He is neutered, UTD with vaccines, sleeps in a crate (which he loves) and he knows tricks like sit, down, speak, spin, foot, and paw. Some things to consider are, that he is NOT good with cats, birds, or other little fuzzy critters. He has a prey drive so will only be placed in a home with no dogs or other friendly dogs. He needs regular grooming because when his hair gets long it's hard to brush unless you do it daily.
