Meet Tinker! She is guessed to be about 4 years old and weighs 10.5 lbs. She is a really sweet girl who will make a great companion. She's sweet, well-behaved, and lovable. She rides well in the car and does wonderful on walks. She would love her own fenced in yard with grass to roam and play in. She does have some narrowing of spaces between her vertebrae, Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). It will be important to ensure she does not jump on or off furniture, does not engage in high impact activities, or activities which could cause back strain- like sudden changes of direction, and that she maintains a healthy weight. Complications with IVDD can lead to paralysis and incontinence, so it is best to manage and prevent any back strain. Because of the IVDD she does have a slightly abnormal gait, but she gets around with no issues right now. Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Danny is sweet and adorable and looking for a great forever home! Danny was found as a stray and taken to a shelter. Both of his eyes were damaged so they were removed, he was neutered he got a dental, is up to date on shots, micro-chipped, heart-worm and fecal tested negative. He gets along fine being blind and is good with other dogs. Danny is friendly and sweet. He is about 15 years old, 13 lbs, a shih tzu, and will need regular brushing and grooming to keep his fur looking beautiful. His adoption fee has been sponsored! Nikki is sweet and looking for a great forever home! Nikki is a 7-8 mos old and a very sweet and smart girl. Does well in a quiet environment and is recommended in a family with older kids as she is deeply afraid of small children, and sudden noises and movements. She’d do best in a home with another dog as she does not like to be alone. She is pee pad trained and we are working on her harness and walking but she is fearful of outdoor spaces . She may do best in a securely fenced yard but shows signs of flight risk, so must be watched at all times. She is playful, loves toys and cuddles. Nikki is a breeder release and will be getting a spay soon so we are accepting applications on her. DOB: 8/24/23 and she is a Shichon which is a Bichon Frise crossed with a Shih Tzu.
