Hi, I’m Ivy I’m a 5-month-old Shih Tzu with a pink bow, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. I love toys. I love other dogs. Playtime is my happy place, and cuddles? Even better. I’m sweet, and always ready to be your little sidekick. I may be small, but my personality is mighty. I also want to share my story… I was going to be euthanized by my breeder — simply because I wasn’t “perfect.” Thankfully, a rescue stepped in and saved my life. Here’s my truth: I’m incontinent and I don’t have control of my back legs. I wear a diaper (and I’m very good about it!), need help with changes, and can’t do stairs. But none of that stops me from living a full, joyful life. I scoot wherever I want to go and don’t let anything dim my sparkle. I’m looking for a foster home or a forever family who sees my heart before my challenges. I’ll need a little extra care — and I’ll give you a lifetime of love in return. Meet Lady!Lady is an 11-year-old Shih Tzu who is ready to spend her golden years surrounded by love. She is 13 lbs.This sweet girl was found as a stray along a country road in Indiana. We can only imagine what she may have been through, but despite her past, Lady is incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving.Lady has been such a good girl since coming into our care. She has barely made a peep and has not barked at all! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is happiest simply being near her people. Her favorite way of saying hello is with her many, many happy tail wags.Lady is spayed and recently had a dental. She only has a couple of teeth remaining, so she will need to stay on soft food. But don’t let that stop you from considering this wonderful senior girl—she has plenty of love left to give.Lady isn’t looking for anything complicated. 🐾 Meet Masha & Bear! Masha and Bear came to us together and are learning that life can be a little softer—and a whole lot less scary. 💚 🎀 Masha — Female, approximately 4 years old 🐻 Bear — Male, approximately 3 years old These two are small white dogs with naturally soft, fluffy coats. Based on their size, coat type, and appearance, we believe they may be Shih Tzu, Maltese, or similar small-breed mixes. They arrived severely matted, which left us with very limited grooming options. Both had to be shaved down for their comfort, so don’t let their current haircuts fool you! Once they’ve had some time to decompress, they’ll be ready for a proper spa day to really feel fancy. ✨ Their coats should grow back beautifully—right now they’re just little blank canvases waiting for their glow-up! Masha and Bear clearly know each other and find comfort in being together, but they do not appear to be bonded and can absolutely be adopted separately. Both are a little shy and cautious right now, so we think they would do best in calmer homes where they can decompress, build confidence, and learn to trust at their own pace. Quick movements and lots of activity can be overwhelming while they’re adjusting, so a home without small children would give them the opportunity to come out of their shells without feeling pressured or overwhelmed. For now, we’re giving them the time and space they need to realize they’re safe. Soon enough, we think we’ll be looking at two fluffy, fancy little dogs wondering why anyone ever let them live any other way. 💚🐾✨

Dusty is an adorable 3-year-old special needs Shih Tzu. He was abandoned in our lobby by his owner because she could no longer care for him. He was so confused as to what was going on, but he slowly began to trust. Dusty was so heavily matted we could barely see him, but when the veterinarians shaved his fur, they noticed his left eye had glaucoma. His eye was removed and he is recovering in his foster home. Missing one eye has not slowed him down. He is very inquisitive of everything around him. He is in a foster home with 4 other furry brothers and sisters.
